Hello everyone inside of Wealthy Affiliate!

As you have read the title right. Although nothing to get too excited about. I just thought I'd come check in here to let you know that for the past 4 years since we moved into the apartment complex in the city (me and my family). I have been purchasing airbeds from Amazon for the past 4 years and 4 months now, and I think I am finally done trying anymore airbeds. Especially the latest one that you can see in title image of the bag that has the name "Intex" on it. So after my latest airbed that I have been using for approximately five months has been popped due to having a visible hole that is now on my bed and so I took a few minutes to think about what I'm doing and had to deflate the bed and as the bed is flattening, I then rolled it and folded it up and sat on it to make sure all the air is out before I can fit it back into the bag that came with the Intex bed. So anyway, I am about to disregard it as I am finally done and went straight into spring cleaning in my room and felt better after doing that. After I was drenched after the cleaning portion part, Then I had to go take a shower and now I'm sitting in the bath while I'm typing this blog.

Now that I am without a bed once again until I get a "real" bed. 🛏️ I will still continue to do some researching to find the best one. Luckily I have already found 3 of the best ones which are mostly like made of gel memory foam and it comes in a box. It's what they call a "bed in a box" which is why I am a little nervous when it comes to purchasing it hence the reviews from real customers saying how soft and comfortable it is while the others are saying it is hard but firm. I don't know but I still think it will be a good idea to buy one of the beds from Amazon of course! Even though I am already experiencing this feeling of doubt thinking that this may or may not work but I want to give it a try and I know for a certain that those types of beds may not last a very long time, which is why it came with a 10-Year Warranty. So you get the idea that it is a lot too think about when it is time to purchase something that it's meant to serve it's purpose. Otherwise, I would just go back to purchasing airbeds. I just wished I should have purchased my real bed last year when I received two of my stimulus checks amount other things that were important and still important to this minute!

Well I may not have long before my mother comes back from the store so until then...

Happy Blogging,

Myra

Hi, Myra

My wife and I are still using the same king size bed (box spring, mattress, and memory foam topper) that we bought in 1992.

It’s still in great shape but things were made a lot differently back then.

Best of Lucy with your new bed, 😊
Frank

Wow, that bed surely has a lot of history (even from back then).

Thank you, Frank. :)

Myra

Yeah, It’s still as nice as when we bought it 30 years ago. I paid $1,200 or $1300 for it, which was quite a bit for a king size back then.

I remember the salesman saying “buy this one and it’ll last you 30 or 40 years.”

Hahaha 10 more years to go, maybe more! 😁

Awesome. The salesman was honest! :)

Myra

Sorry to hear about your airbed issues Myra, but in my experience they are only a temporary solution or good for when camping!

You can't beat a proper bed in my opinion, and I would say that the quality of the mattress is the most important thing to ensure a good night's sleep!

I'm sure that you will make the right decision my friend! :-)

Thanks Jessie. Well the only reason why I stuck with the airbeds for so long is because they were affordable and only under $100 depending on what brand you get. Like I just went with the Intex one because of the quality. Yes, I am aware that they can last for up to a year and can also be used for sleepovers too. :)

Yes, you are right that no "proper" bed in comparison to other beds can be beaten.

Myra

I hear you Myra... but a 100 bucks each couple of months before they split and a new one is needed doesn't really make sense to me!!

In my opinion only... a good bed is one of the most important purchases we will ever make in our lifetimes!!

Imagine...the average person sleeps for eight hours a night... that is one third of our day, and lives!!

Nowhere else will we spend so much time!!

So.... (again in my opinion only) a decent bed that will last at least ten years, is a very important buy!!

I won't tell you how much my bed cost.. but after nearly ten years it is still going very well my friend and probably the best purchase I have made in my life up to now!!! :-))

Well I am so glad to hear that this all worked out for you, Jessie. I just wished I could have thought of it sooner but I was so afraid that it would be a huge let down after awhile. Please understand, that I only needed to save a few extra bucks which is why I was stuck on the airbeds. Maybe I should have stopped at just two airbeds but I was so afraid about this whole idea about buying a "bed in a box" that I was setting myself up for a huge failure if I was to go through with purchasing it. That was why I kinda held out the idea, way more than I should have and that's my own fault and I get it but I don't regret about buying airbeds that has lasted me a little over a year versus a couple of months with the latest one. :/

Anyway, I was just saying that I hope it all works out for me because I don't see why it shouldn't especially when I'm paying for it!

Thank you for taking the time to comment and you have a pleasant one.

Myra

I totally understand you Myra!

I'm sure that it will work out just fine for you my friend!

Have a fantastic Frisatsu yourself!! :-)

Thank you, Jessie. I know it will work out fine too. :)

Have an amazing weekend yourself! :)

Myra

It will indeed my good friend...

And I am so far, but soon my very comfortable bed will have my full attention as it is getting late here!! :-)))

Oh okay. Have a good night sleep, Jessie.

Myra

Thanks my friend... and I did! :-))

So sorry to hear about that, Myra
I know you will get it sorted soon

Thanks, Simone. I hope so too. :)

Myra

Awesome
Keep us informed

I will gladly do that, Simone.

Have a great day ahead!

Myra

You, too, Myra :)

Hang in there, Myra! You will get what you need when you need it, my friend!

Jeff

Thank you, Jeff. I really appreciate your support. :)

Myra

You're very welcome, Myra, and you will always have it, my friend!

Keep succeeding!

Jeff

Myra, don't worry it will be fine. I am just so sorry that you are having such a bad time of it with Air Beds.

I had a similar experience with the four different waterbeds that I had and each one of them had ended up with holes in them and they flooded my bedroom.

I understand it is not exactly the same but they are both similar. Yes it was a mess to clean up after the last one flooded I went back to a regular bed myself.

Mary

Oh wow, well at least you took care of all that water mess and stuck to your regular bed. :)

Myra

Yes I did because I wasn't about to spend any more money and watch it drown if you will.

Mary
