Okay so two days ago. I've decided to open an Instagram account to promote my business and while I did just that. That was when I had very few followers as I'm just getting it started. Then I see this one follower who has followed me on there named, "Stella." So she follows me on there and I followed her back and then two days later, she left me a message on my DM telling me that she was a sugar momma looking for a sugar babe and was offering me a payment of $3K. Okay here's where it gets interesting. She asked me to make her a promise to never leave her and to keep "talking" to her and I said, "I promise." Then she asked for my email and I gave her my email and she sent the payment to my PayPal and I looked at my PayPal only to see it was $0 still. Even though I had seen the notification that was sent to me via email showing me the payment amount of $3K, there was a clearance fee of $32 that I had to pay in order to receive this kind of money. Now I want you to honest with me and tell me that this is too good to be true.
She says "congratulations" and I was like, "oooooookkkkkkkk."
So I've said my thanks to her. And then she said at first that, "maybe I can help you" to pay for the clearance fee by asking what my current balance is and I said, "$2." That was when she had gave me this whole story saying that her account was hacked last year which is why she decided to charge a clearance fee and expects me to pay it when I can but I'm already thinking that I am not going to waste anymore time with this person, just because she had taken an interest of the content that I was posting on Instagram. ****Sighs**** I wish I could post a screenshot showing you the PayPal payment amount but it won't let me. :( Anyways, you get the idea the way these things work. I'm not saying that you should or shouldn't commit to doing that but if it looks too good to be true then 10/10--it is.

Myra! What? You fell for this? It's unbelievable. I never would have taken or accepted a thing. The Internet is so full of scammers that the words are enough to know the difference with the words "Sugar Momma" is a dang scammer. They are all over Now you know do not trust anybody even in WA we have trolls and scammers come through especially dating ones, many guys or gals even come to WA faceless and want to date me report to Kyle fast then they are gone. Seriously cut all ties with this sugar fella ain't your real friend, the intent is to lure people like yourself who fall to prey to this. You will need to shut all this down. Even close your Paypal account and set up a new one. STEER clear! Contact your bank close your account and open a new one I hope you did not lose any money never ever pay money upfront everyone here agrees don't do it ever again.
No Brenda! I didn't fall for this but, I did give her my email to start but I didn't receive anything in my PayPal because of this supposed "clearance fee" that she failed to tell me.

Wow .. I honestly didn't know that people would even take the time to create a fake account even on WA just to get at you in someway. That's awful! I also want to thank you for your time that you took to write me this. Yes sadly enough, I will have to close my PayPal and create a new one.
Okay, I'm going to do that now so that this never happens again.

Sorry, I sound like a mad disciplinarian (scolding you). I do get very mad 😡 when people prey on innocent people like yourself. People have been preying on me my whole life. For several reasons: first, I am Deaf. Second, I am a blonde. Third, a female. I've been chased, they stole my bike from me, and I fought them to get it back. I was beaten up by neighborhood bullies, but I fought back, I have a very bad temper, so I fight them off, and those bullies ended up in the hospital with broken arms and a broken nose. After that, they never touched me ever again. Nobody can scam me or take anything from me never ever. Next time if you see something like this please share it with us we will tell you if it's a scammer. You have some work to do to clean up. Your IG account needs to be changed too.
Oh no Brenda! You're okay. It's good to know these things beforehand. It's good that nobody is messing with you anymore since you had to set the bullies straight. I definitely will be posting more about the scammers in the future just incase if I run into to another one.

I would NEVER buy into this kind of scam. Stay clear of the shark tank. It could cost you an arm and a leg.

Hi Myra, Yes this is one of those things that are two good to be true, And I tell you why first off she asked you too many personal questions and then she said that she would help you pay the clearance fee.
I got the impression that it wasn't a woman, I truly believe that is was a guy posing as a woman it was phishing. I would personally block this person and change everything so they can't get any money from you.
This is just another scam and there are many red flags to this.

Thank you Mary for taking the time to leave a comment underneath my blog that I did yesterday yes there have been too many red flags within' this conversation that I have had with the scammer, and I've had since blocked him/her. I also had to delete my Paypal account associated with my email.

Hi Myra, Yes I had to delete my Facebook account because someone hack that. So I have a new account now. Yes these scammers are getting more and more sophisticated with their scams.
And when someone calls you are not sure as to who you are talking with anymore. We just have to be as careful as we can. I wish someone would come up with a way of detecting a scammer that would make our lives a lot easier.
