Snowy Goals

I just dropped in to see if I could help someone today. Just for a few minutes.

Taking an intermission from this move. I have everything or almost everything broken down into 3 sections:

1. Throwing in Trash

2.Taking to the Goodwill

3.Keeping to myself

Putting out the garbage will surely make space automatically. I definitely see areas in this apartment. Opening up

But wouldn't you know it...

4 days before it is May 1st.

It is? You guessed it, SNOWING!!! Coming down hard and sticking.

From last weekend up to yesterday it was beautiful 60-70 degree weather for over 7 days.

The weekend I want to move it is snowing. Being the trooper I am. I am push right on through this. I will not be deterred due this crappy weather.

Always trying to keep a good woman down. Shaking my head.

Has anyone every had bad weather while moving?

If so did you stop or keep going?

As I said I am going to keep going.

I am just curious how the WA Platform would deal with my dilemma today.

Just saying.

Hi, Cherry.
What part of the world are you in?

End of April here in Southern Ontario, Canada and we had snow yesterday.

Not heavy but very unexpected. More to come over the next few days. Difficult to figure out.

In answer to your question, the last time I moved it was raining. The 'movers' kept 'moving.'

Enjoy a glorious day.

Paul.

LOL!!! I love it. "The movers kept moving". I am in Chicago due to my job. This weather here has been the worst I have ever experienced. It is worse than when I was in Alaska for a year.

This move is almost over. Thank you kindly. Be Blessed.

Ahh...The Windy City.
Be safe.

Paul.

I sympathize and empathize with you Cherry.
After days of dry weather, the day I left my home in London for over 55 years to move to Gibraltar it rained stair rods all day. Everything exposed to the elements that day was soaked through. Me, my wife, Bruno, the last of our possessions to go to storage and even some that were already in storage, all saturated.
I wish you much better fortune with your move.
Steve.

I am sorry to hear that happen. Bad weather just make a already stressful situation worse. Thank goodness I am almost done. Thank you kindly.
Be Blessed.

Good afternoon my wa Conrad. I would throw some wood in the fireplace, light some candles, light some incense , open up a fine bottle of wine, get in front of my computer and do what I like to do create, may you have a wonderful weekend no matter what the weather is like.

Oh, how I wish I could. The day that is going to happen is going to be soon, Thank you kindly. Be Blessed.

Keep yur grove going.

Yes I did. I am almost done. I think by tomorrow afternoon I should be done. Thank you kindly. Be Blessed.

Well I would open a can of beer and settle down in front of the fire until the weather got better

Gerry,
I wish I could. I wanted to be out before Monday. I have to go back to work Monday. It wouldn't have been so stressful this move if not for the snow slowing everything down.

Thank you. Be Blessed.

Yes, Cherry, we have moved in searing heat before when we lived in Phoenix.
We just grabbed more water, and carried on because we had to!
Wishing you every happiness in your new place. You are a WArrior Princess!

Warrior Princess, here me roar. I am almost done, thank goodness. I think tomorrow afternoon should do it. Thank you for your words. Be Blessed.

Try packing everything your wife holds dear to her in two vehicles. And three children and two labs and a Beagle mix while a hurricane is bearing down on the area.
Seriously good luck with your move. Know who your friends are now. LOL.

HA!HA! I am sorry we women can put me through some stuff. As my funny commentor PBA said. I just slid right in. Thank you kindly. Be Blessed.

Cherry,
I hope the move goes well.
I’ve been lucky weather wise with our moves.
I’m sure you’ll slide in perfectly...
Good luck and I look forward to reading it was successful.
Peter

LOL! I gotcha. Almost done. I figure tomorrow afternoon and I will be through. Thank you kindly. Ba Blessed.

The worst that has happened to me was I had to move for severe months due to flooding. It is hard to move at such short notice, as ever you can cope.
As they say here chin up.
Antonio

Thank you kindly. Be Blessed.

A couple of times in my life I moved in terrible weather! You just keep it moving until you’re done! Hate the conditions, but afterwards it is the best feeling. It just proves nothing can stop you. Success becomes a part of who you are! Get her done!

Enjoying your journey,
Lorna

I did just that. Keep moving. I am almost done. Thank you. Be Blessed.
