Make Sure to Update Older Posts
Spent most of today going back through all of my posts on my first website. I like to do this every three months to make sure they are kept up to date. I have noticed that some of my tags seem to disappear for some reason, so I have to put them back. I don't know why this happens.
Has anyone else seen that happen?
I also make sure all of the posts are fully SEO up to date, since our friends at Google like to change the rules from time to time.
Make sure to update images as well. I found a few that were coming up blank so I fixed those.
Also make sure to check all your affiliate links to make sure they are still active. Our affiliates are always changing as well. This is especially true of Amazon. Products may not always still be on Amazon, so make sure you keep up with those.
I also make sure I check my title and description to verify they are under the maximum suggested lengths and that they are accurate for the post subject.
Google does like it when you keep things updated.

Yes, please check them out and make sure you are up to date. It is best to schedule routine maintenance on your sites. That way you won't forget.
