A Very Special Day for Me!
Today was a special day for me. I volunteered to help put together the 3/4 replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall That Heals in Bellflower, CA. It was an honor and a very humbling experience to be part of such an important event. Everyone should go out and see this wall and the other information they provide about all the people who fought for us, many which lost their lives. We cannot ever forget the sacrifice out military make every day and especially when the make the ultimate sacrifice.
I am a veteran and I was proud to help.
You can check out the website of the wall for all the information on where it is and where it will be this year.

Thanks and God Bless you for your service.
I haven’t seen the memorial yet and will check the site you provided to find an opportunity to do so.

It is a very powerful monument indeed. I've seen the one in DC. My cousin just wrote a book about his Vietnam experiences - it's called "Potato People." Thank you for your service., both then and now.
Yes it was great and I talked to several Vietnam Vets while I was there. All great people.
I salute you Sir, and I thank you for protecting the numerous people who get to share a free world. You and every veteran made it possible to live the life we choose. Thank you.
A very good job to do, and great that you had the opportunity to do it. Yes, the sacrifice of one's life is the ultimate one, and I don't think that sinks in enough sometimes. We must not forget!
Thank you, Curtis for sharing your special day and enabling the opportunity to learn more about this event.
I live in New Zealand so will never get to see this wall. However, due to your thoughtfulness in providing the link, I can gain more information.
I've had the pleasure & honor to visit the original one DC. Very moving! I still have a son in the Air Force & my other son just retired from the Navy. 🇺🇸
Thank you for sharing this special event with us. If I am ever in that area, I will make sure that I visit it.
You are correct, we should never allow ourselves to forget the sacrifices that our military members have made and continue to make for us.
Thank you for your service back then and the things that you continue to do today.
Sondra, it is only here for four days and will be moved to the next stop. The website has the schedule for this year.
