That is what I was thinking. I wasn't wanting to lie, I just didn't know if it wanted what my last tax return stated or if it wanted my current name.

Is it legal for me to use company names such as Hobby Lobby or Walmart, if I am just stating which stores sell certain products, even if I have not applied for any affiliate pro

Yes you can, but you cannot add brand-names as keywords. Most companies, also affiliates you have do not allow you you to use their names as keywords. But in your post/articles you are free to use them as much as you want.

Anyway if I've emailed companies explaining why I'm using them with links to there page for consent is that ok?
