During this COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic time, a lot of places were lock down and movement restricted
What are the differences between lock down and lock up?
- In lock down, you are forced to stay at home, in lock up, you are forced to stay in a 4 walled room.
- In lock down, you need to look for own food, in lock up, you are given meals every day.
- In lock down, you worry about your income, in lock up, you are not worried about income.
- In lock down, you worry about how to pay rent or housing loan, in lock up, you stay rent free room.
- In lock down, if you go out, you need to wear mask, in lock up, you can go to compound to have fresh air.
- In lock down, you have to take care of your own medical bill, in lock up, you do not have to pay for your medical bill.
- In lock down, you have to make sure you keep a socialable distance, in lock up, the warden make sure you are kept some distances from your inmate.
- In lock down, you worry about your future, in lock up, you have no worry.
- In lock down, you worry about your safety, in lock up, you have no such worry.
- In lock down, you are anxious to go out, in lock up, you do not have to think about it.
- In lock down, you can not have your hair cut, in lock up, you are given free hair cut

US over all is quite lax since every one likes to talk about their rights and so on, it all depends on the attitude of individual, over here in Singapore, we also came across people who just refused to follow the guideline issued by the Ministry of Health and be responsible.

It is a 10 day sentence.
I encourage all those in a similar situation not to do it.
Actual 'lock up' is very real as opposed to 'lock down.'
