How do I take my domains that I have paid for with me if I close my account?

Featured Comment

If you quit your Premium membership, you will still be able to manage all of your domains here and you will be able to route your DNS settings (nameservers) to point to other hosting companies.

You will also be able to continue to purchase your domains as well using our SiteDomain service, even as a non Premium member.

I glad you got answers by kyle

You'll have 30 days to backup your websites and save the files on your computer. Here's the full instructions:

As with any registrar that you've bought your domain thru, you can have your site hosted anywhere. To change hosts, you simply need to change the DNS to point to your new host.

It's always best to backup your site prior to big changes like that. And then you would simply pay WA each year to renew your domain name ownership. This is the easiest way of moving your domain.

Or you also have the option of switching registrar as well, to do that you will need the authorization code to transfer your domain to another registrar

Use the export in the wordpress tools

You can download them on to your computer.

How can I resize the pics on my site?

To reszie your pic click on the pic and on all four corners you will see an arrow. Click on either of them and drag the pic to the desirede size. That can be done when and if you do not want to change the image properties in your editor.

Hope this helps.

FeltonT.

Thanks Felton!

If you click on the image it gives you the edit option to resize. If you are in site content you can crop the images downloaded from site content.

Thank you, I appreciate that!

How can I get the followers into the circle? What is the process? I have followers, and I am following others, but my circles all say empty. How can I put them into the circle,

Hey Carolyn,

The following tutorial may offer you the help you seek: Hope this helps you.

Hi Chardin4 Here is the Google+ step by step on how to set up "Circles" and adding followers to your circles:

1) Create a circle
On your computer, open Google+.
In the Navigation menu, click or tap People.
Click Following.
Click NEW CIRCLE.
Name your circle, then click CREATE.

2) To add someone to a different circle:
On your computer, open Google+.
Open the profile of the person you want to move to another circle.
Click the name of the circle that they're in, or the checkmark next to their name.
Use the menu to add them to a different circle.
ClickDONE.

3) To remove someone from a circle:
On your computer, open Google+.
Open the profile of the person you want to remove.
Click the name of the circle that they're in.
In the menu that appears, uncheck a circle to remove them from that circle.
Click DONE.

4) When you create a new circle, it is automatically added to "Your circles." If you don't want to share posts to all of your circles, you can choose which ones to share with.

To choose if one of your circles is included when you share to "Your circles:"

On your computer, open Google+.
Click Menu Menu and then People.
Click FOLLOWING.
Next to the circle you want to add or remove, click More More and then Circle settings.
Turn "Include when sharing with Your circles," on or off.

5) When you share on Google+, you can select the circles or people you want to share with, or you can use the "Your circles" option to share with multiple circles at once.

On your computer, open Google+.
Click Menu Menu and then People.
Click FOLLOWING.
Under "Your Circles," next to the circle you want to include or exclude, click More More and then Circle settings.
Turn "Include when sharing with Your circles," on or off.
Notes:

By default, "Your circles" includes all the circles you've created. If there are circles you'd prefer not to share with, you can remove them from the "Your circles" group.
People in the circles you're following are still included among your extended circles.
Any time you share something with "Your circles," it will be shared with the list of circles included in the "Your circles" setting.

In the future, you can also click on Wealthy Affiliate's-Live Chat and also the "Activity Dashboard" for questions you would like addressed.

Hope this helps!

Whew you're making me dizzy with all those circles, lol...

Thank you so much Phildora. I had been trying to do this for days. I appreciate your kindness. Carolyn

I know right? I could not add the Google help page links to address Carolyn--I got an error message (outside links prohibited--oops I forgot). This was the only way to do this so she could have a way to resolve he dilemma. (lol)

You are very welcome my dear!
