How do I take my domains that I have paid for with me if I close my account?
You'll have 30 days to backup your websites and save the files on your computer. Here's the full instructions:

As with any registrar that you've bought your domain thru, you can have your site hosted anywhere. To change hosts, you simply need to change the DNS to point to your new host.
It's always best to backup your site prior to big changes like that. And then you would simply pay WA each year to renew your domain name ownership. This is the easiest way of moving your domain.
Or you also have the option of switching registrar as well, to do that you will need the authorization code to transfer your domain to another registrar
