My Site Kit Cumulative Layout Shift Result is 0.922, which is poor. I used sitekit because it was more convinient.
How can I fix or at least improve cumulative layout shift?
Not sure why you are using Site Kit. I would rely on Google Analytics and Google Search Console. They have all the statistics you really need.
Site Kit is new and is refining yet. And it takes a lot of resources and will slow your website down. I would avoid using it.
Keep focusing on creating helpful unique content for your niche website. That has big returns.
Site kit is very convenient GA and GSC with no loading overhead. It's provided by Google and also provides easy links for GA, GSC and Sitespeed. I use it.
Your general comment about writing content is perfectly reasonable and appropriate of course.

Hi
I wouldn't use site kit as stats can be found by logging onto GSC, GA etc.
Plus it slows down systems.

cumulative layout shift is shifting in position of elements on your page during page load...
so using either chrome tools or firefox tools or webpagetest you can see in the waterfall what elements are being loaded when...
this will help seeing what iscausing the layout shift...which can be ads not defined, elements being loaded late, space not being allocated for elements.....
so it all depends on what you are sunig to create your website...
plugins, themes, page builder and ads can all be processes that cause layout shifts....
so there is no really easy answer or single answer...
it is a process you go through to debug your site...
good luck
