Hi - it sounds as though you are wanting to sell your own services, rather than promote other people's products (which is what affiliate marketing actually is - directing people to buy products from the likes of Amazon).
If so, you can build your website around your own services, and sell the lessons directly to interested buyers.
I don't understand why you would want to offer them on another website and only get a small commission for what is actually your own work, rather than sell them yourself and get full price.
In another words, you could sell your own packages for, lets say, £100 but the other website may only give you 5 or 10% commission.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I will invoice clients directly from my own website.
I was just interested if affiliate marketing was relevant for providing a service rather than a product, so I wanted to understand how it worked.
Basically yes. You get paid when someone comes on to your Web Site, follows that link and buys something. Then you get a portion of the money spent by that customer.
So the object is to get as many interested people to come to your site as possible, and a percentage will follow your links, and a percentage of those will buy and then you get some of that sweet cash.
Dave.
Thanks very much for the explanation! So, in reality, my product is packages of lessons to teach English, so if I sell these packages on another platform, that platform gives me a percentage of the amount spent by the purchaser. Is that correct? Yes or No?
