I have an affiliate and a niche site and I was curious how we actually get paid and do I have to take care of my own taxes or do the affiliate programs do it? How do I get credi
The affiliate links track traffic from your site when something is sold you get paid into your account with them or whatever payment method you have selected you are responsible for your own taxes.. if you go to affiliate classroom on the right of the page it shows you how it works
Thanks for your question. It has helped me also over here. I love this community. Its awesome.
Hi, well, lets sort through your questions.
You get paid directly from your affiliates, and each one has it's own procedure for payment, so you will need to contact them or go through their payment options to figure that out.
You are responsible for any and all income taxes.
WA pays the 1st of every month for affiliate sign ups through PayPal so you must have a PayPal account and have that information on record here at WA.
WA also keeps track of all of your sign ups.
Hope that helps. :)

Should I have a regular Pay Pal account or a Business Pay Pal account for my website? What do most of you have?
I guess it depends on how much you are making at the moment, and if PayPal won't have any issues with you if you are generating thousands through a regular and not business account.
I am not really sure. But it would be worth checking out PaPal's terms of use if you intend to earn hundreds of thousands through a regular account.
