Update: Been Researching
Hello everyone, I am going to give you all an update on my new direction and discuss 'starting over'. For the last 3 days I have been keyword researching for 4 sub-niches and compiling a huge list (over a 110 each) for each one.
Keyword Traffic Potential Adds Up
The keywords I have compiled are between 50 & 500 searches with between 6-156 QSR for each. The total traffic potential per niche is over 1,000 (I am referencing the 'traffic' not the 'total search' part of WA Key. Tool) per month.
My Sub-Niches Have Obsessed People
The sub-niches I am researching all fall into one broad niche that people are obsessed with. I will not reveal my niches yet as I am in the process of researching profitable domain names.
Obsessed People Means Money
These people are obsessed with this niche which means it will be easy to market the products to them. In fact the products I will be promoting are already 'top sellers' in that niche. With even one product selling at a rate of 1 an hour!
1 Niche Site Or More?
I have yet to decide if I will start out building just one site or buy domain names and build each site over time and link them all together.
My Sites Will Be Different Then My Competition's
One thing that I have noticed in my niche is that their is a lot of 'drop shipping' or 'e commerce shops' with only a brief description of the product with no reviews. These sites operate a lot like amazon and some are affiliate sites.
Reviews, Sharing, Reviewing
Since my competition is just 'drop shippers' and 'mini amazon affiliate sites' that have 'mini reviews' I plan to incorporate full length reviews and link them within the content. I also plan to incorporate fresh graphics and original content.
I also plan on doing 'mini reviews' on other sites that have these products and having a link to the site within that content. I also plan to incorporate 'buying' keywords into the content as well.
Site Will Transform Into An Authority Site
My site will feature 'mini reviews' with links to full reviews. It will also feature up-to-date info relative to my sub-niche. One final thing I am also going to do is make this site or sites more social media ready/friendly and mobile friendly.
I want to turn it into an authority site within this sub-niche, I don't just want it to be a niche site I want it to be 'the site'.

I stumbled upon the sub-niches by accident! I am confident that I can make these sites work. I will be updating with site links in the future.
I am glad the community helped me to see that my other site was not working. It was sad to hear, but everyone fails eventually. It's the people that learn and make better sites that succeed.

I have learned from my mistakes in my other site and feel better knowing what to do and what not to do. I will be updating again soon in another blog, feel free to read that one as well.
