2 days ago I crossed the 50 mark in published content. Still have no referrals or sales. I am shooting for 100 pieces by the end of 2017.

Congratulation 50 is a great number. But with no referrals and no conversion rethink what is not looking right. As with 50 posts you should have already conversion and referrals.

Thanks for the feedback. Why not checkout my site and give me your feedback on what you think needs to change. I welcome all advice. https://earnawayyourdebt.com/

50 is great, but how come there is no referrals or sales? Do you have any ideas? It would be really helpful to know why? As far as I understand, if you follow all steps: right keywords, 7 steps SEO (in Jay's WAbinar videos) you should have good traffic on your site. I just started and am really interested to know what actually works.

Thanks for the feedback. Why don't you go to my site, look it over and offer me feedback on what you think needs to be changed. Any feedback is welcome.

Hi Alex,
I visited your site. May I ask one more question to make it clear for me? Do you have traffic to your site? I posted my comment above thinking that you did not have referrals because you did not have traffic. And now when I visited the site I am curious - do you have traffic?
I visited firstly from iphone, and I could not read the text because of Social Network plugin. It shows all these SN buttons right in the middle across the screen, and is following the reader when they scroll the text.
I also have another idea, but I need to know first do you have enough traffic?
Thanks!

According to Google Analytics From Sept. 1-12 I have had 22 visitors with the majority coming from either WA or SM. I am interested in any suggestions you may have.

I am concerned about the social buttons issue on my site. Please feel free to give me any suggestions you may have. .

Those coming from WA will not be referrals, right? So they should not count. This is one answer.

Another may be in analytics - the bounce rate of those who come from SM.

You know, I really read a few articles, and looked through some of them. And it is a completely mine opinion, and I am not an expert.

So, this said, I would recommend you to think about:
- leaving only one color inside the text (you have blue headings sometimes, and I even saw red), that makes it easier to read

- replacing featured images in some articles like - How To Start An Affiliate Marketing Website [Tutorial]. It does look like a book, but it is not, right? And if it is not a cover it is almost impossible to read

- and think about images number in each post, you know better than me, that people are scanning the content to find something interesting, and images are there to catch the eye... but what happens when there are too many images?

And one more thing... but it will be unpleasant, and I do not want you to be... I will tell you only if you ask, teaser:))

Thanks for asking my opinion.
Regards,
Andrey

Thanks for the feedback I have made the following adjustments.
- I adjusted the social media icons to appear only on the top right and float down as you read.
-I changed all the posts to reflect only 1 color in the content.
-I adjusted the feature images to only feature an image and the title text.

I welcome anymore advise you have to offer. So anymore advise you can offer?

I visited your site, in my opinion it is better and easier to read.
OK, here is the "last thing" from me...

Look, your project is earn away your debt.
THat was the initial idea, right?
When I first looked at your site, I did not see that the idea is implemented.
My unbiased view was that Earn Away Your Debt DOES NOT equal Learn Your Way To Online Success.

And what is even more important - you focus too much on scams and other topics, which do not lead exactly to the promise you communicate.
How your war against scams is related to earn away your debt? How does "Learn Your Way To Online Success?" relate to scams?

For the last two days, I had been commenting inside WA on other people's sites and reviewed more than twenty.
Some of them are great to have a look at, some - are far from ideal.
But there are good examples of sites which deliver the promise - in their domain names.

I would advise you to THINK about narrowing your focus on something, which you find interesting.

As to me, it seems that "scams" theme is really - yours.

So, maybe you would launch another site with the antiscams name in it, and make the same thing as Kyle did with his waystoavoid scamsonline?

From what I see, Kyle is not investing his time in this niche anymore. And I checked other few sites in this niche.

Kyle said that a niche is a group of people searching for something important to them.

You can easily check with the help of keyword tool the potential of "scams" niche and availability of domain names in Jaaxy.

Or you could choose "Learn Your Way To Online Success" niche and availability of domain names. But in this case, the topic of scams is not that relevant.

And you know what - you produced the content of very very good quality and TON of it in short time.

I am positive that you can run TWO sites targeting two narrow niches simultaneously.

Regards,
Andrey

And thanks for asking and reading.

Thanks for the feedback.
I do have a few questions though.
1) If I set up another site dedicated to exposing scams how can i successfully incorporate WA affiliate links?
2) Do you really think that I could 'divide' this website up and create 2 more from the material?
3) What would you recommend I do with the site currently?

I really appreciate you helping me on my journey. Your advise is honest and truthful and I'll take that over any 'great job' any day.

Thank you again.

1. Simple - look at Kyle's waystoavoidscamsonline.com closely, and you will see. It would be easy for you to do with all content you created.
And it will be focused and narrow niche. And it won't take everyday efforts, because scams worth writing do not appear that often, I assume...

2. Yes. Because for scams you do not need so many articles about learning - look at Kyle's site, again for inspiration

3. I am not an expert in this - I just started myself. I would recommend you to ask opinion of other people who's sites you like, or those who are advanced in this things.

But if you stil ask me - I would set-up two brand new sites and I would redirect articles to them.
I changed my domain name for the first site after I started it, made redirect - with the help of site Rubix support team.

I lost one week in terms of indexing, but it's fine now.

But again, think about commenting on others posts here for one full day, if you did not do it before.

You will not only earn some credits which will help you get comments on the post on your two new sites; you will know who to ask advice on your situation too.

Best regards,
Andrey

By commenting posts I mean commenting with siterubix comment option - to earn credits and use them for comments back.

I am looking into all those options we have talked about. I do have one last question I forgot to ask you.

you said that earn away your debt does not equal learn your way to online success. 'when you think about 'earn away your debt', what did you think the site was supposed to be about?

If i didn't implement the idea correctly can you please offer suggestions on how to correct it from your prospective.

I think I can rework the current site, by focusing on 'earning away your debt'. So when you hear that phrase what

I thought you would elaborate on some specific situations people find themselves in debt, and start from that.

If they are in debt they want to solve this problem and start to search for some quick earning schemes.

Here is where scams come, I assume. But warning people not to fall into scammy programs is only one part. They want to see the fast way out debt.

And I think with "earn your debt away" you are to guide them to legit fast opportunities.

Instead you say them - there is no such quick way. They should feel more disappointed, right?

So my point is that if there are no (in your opinion) such quick ways to get rid of debt... you should find other niche - for those who have time to go for WA approach and be prepared not to get any earnings for 3-6 months, or even a year.

I do not know the answer - you are the expert.

Thanks again!
Andrey

Thank you for all of your input I can see know what you are talking about. I will have to think through my options, but I can now see what you are talking about with the scam and learning parts.

I think I might just call this site a 'learning experience' and use it as a guide for the 'learn your way to online success' niche. I will also think about the scam aspect.

Thanks for all your help so far.

if you don't find me asking, what niche are you in, and do you have a site?

You are more than welcome. But again I am not an expert in online marketing, I had expertise in marketing in telecom and banking but organic traffic was not the priority...

I have site in "learning niche" as you rightly put it.
I focused on my local market.

A week ago I decided to try new site - I have only two pages on it now, so it's not worth seeing it.

But in a week from now I would be happy to get your feedback))

Thanx again
Andrey

Thanks again for all the help. I am thinking about creating a site around 'just try before your buy' the tagline would be 'try successful affiliate programs before you buy scams.

It would be centered around promoting legit affiliate programs through reviews.

What are you thoughts when you hear the phrase 'just try before you buy'? and would my concept fit into it?

Thanks again.

As Kyle said - niche is just a group of people searching for something.
I understand it this way:
1. Go to keyword tool and type what is in your mind. In this case : try before you buy
2. Look at number of searches and qsr of this keyword AND
Other related to it
3. Use alphabet soup technique to find other ideas of related keywords
4. Find at least 10 related keywords with searches more than 100 and qsr less than 100 (Jay's rule) but I agree with others - it should be lower than 30-40 for new sites
5. If you find this bunch of keywords - the more the better, than find available domain name and go:

Domain name may be same as your best pick in keywords, for ex.
-Waystoavoidscamsonline (Kyle);
-affiliate resources, inductiocookwareset (Jay),
- blogaboutblogging (one guy which site I reviewed recently) ....

or they can be more creative with thousands of searches and low qsr Plus some word which is your site future uniqueness and identity.
Example trafficgenerationcafe.com- go visit it, it is nice.

I signed up for their newsletter - it is useful and engaging.

And one more thing
Do not use stop words like "what, when, how) in your keywords evaluation.

I read many posts on this here in WA, and it seems that these words may be misleading: they show you low Qsr - but google does not care, because no one types "keyword phrase in quotes" when googling.

Watch Jay's "use jaaxy like a boss" webinar.

and read some posts here "qsr and usr" u - stands for unquoted search results.

Thanks for questions and interest in my opinion
Andrey

I'm looking at Jay's video classes and I will look into this other information as well. Thanks so much for your opinions they have really helped me to map my affiliate future.

Congrats! :)
