Guys, how long can a sub domain be, as far as characters. Of course it should be within reason, no sentences.

Think of it like CHAPTERS in a book or CATEGORIES on a website instead of a new BOOK (SUB-DOMAIN) for each subject.

The short answer is you can have as many subdomains as you would like. The question is why? I agree with Ian use categories

Don't use a subdomain. Use categories.

Well that makes sense, Triblu! I reckon people didn't join WA to see how many other ways their personal space could be trounced on by signing up for secondary accounts on other pages.

Personally, I refuse to comment on any website forcing me to create yet another account just so I can leave a comment.

That being said ... I too had the same issue as you. I followed the lesson instructions posting my URL requesting comments after making valuable comments on other's sites and got NOTHING in return.

Once I commented ... on the same thread where I asked for comments ... that I wasn't receiving any comments on my site, I had several excellent responses to my cry (pouting, whatever ya' wanna' call it) ... and, the BEST one I felt was to post the same request at different times of day.

Many of us here are on different time zones and ... as you yourself witnessed I'm sure ... my request made once, was soon buried by other's requests for the same.

So ... my advice to you is that you post another request (without saying anything else) for comments on the "Please Give Me Feedback" thread.

•Then add the text that should work as a link.

I hope this has not confused you.
Basically the word here is triggering a redirection to another place as shown between " & " so clicking on the word here will send the user to the yahoo website in this case or whatever you decide is required for your particular application. It may be another page on your site or an affiliate page.
