I am trying to answer a question on my comments section, but it stops me in my tracks and a -1 appears in a pink shaded field underneath my reply. what can be done so my reply
To solve the issue, Site Support told me instead of clicking on Approve and Reply, just click on Approve then click on Reply. Usually I just click on Approve and Reply and write out my reply, but I got the above mentioned error of -1 in a pink field. This solution was quick and easy and as usual Site Support was very fast in replying back.

Can I have Amazon links with other affiliate links on my website? And can I have them on the same page or must I have different pages for each link.
You can have other links on the same page, just don't put too many links, try to spread out to 1 different link for every 500 words, otherwise Google gets upset. By upset I mean it will harm your ranking.
Joe
Yes and No
You can have both Amazon and other merchants affiliate links on your website and even on the same page/post
What isn’t allowed, is if you are using content from Amazon for X Product and you also have a link to X Product from a different merchant. I.e. if you say X Product is available from Amazon and Company B, that is a no no for Amazon.
Thanks Chrystopher,
Don't you ever sleep? LOL. I was going to PM you this question but I thought, there's no way you would be up.
Thanks Guru.
haha I do take breaks away from WA and it’s not quite midnight yet. I am on my phone though and not my computer ;-) I’ll be away for at least 8 hours shortly haha

Hi Everyone,
I know that Google will penalize me in my rankings if I copy and paste material on other websites to mine.
But, what if i cut and paste my own materi
Thanks Florentino,
I have already done it manually. It took me like 5 minutes to transfer all my posts.
I used a RSS aggregator on my website to send my content to more than one site of mine, and the result was that the duplicate site didn't rank. Since I have other sites, but they are all written by me, I wanted to have my personal brand aggregate all of my content on my site. That didn't work well for me, but you could have a different experience.
Trial and error may be the end determining factor, but I don't know others who have duplicated content and ranked both pieces. I think you may need to add some original content to dilute the duplicate.
Do you want two pieces of content to compete with each other in the search rankings? I think that's how Google would see it. Why give two of the same pieces of content a position when there's so much original content?
Whatever you decide, hopefully, it works out.
That sounds like a real problem you've had. I don't have any suggestions on the original question, but on your scenario with posting content to two sites, I had thought of doing it too. Now reconsidering
One possible solution: If you put a social media widget on your sites, all of the posts on the social media profile show up automatically in the widget. You could have the widget on all of your sites. You would then link to your articles in social media, and effectively you would have a link to all your content on all the sites via the widget, but the actual articles would each only reside on whichever site is best for that content, thus avoiding duplication as far as Google is concerned.
Or you could post a short blog post on one site that links to the article on another site, not sure how that would effect the Google Ranking though if a site has many of those short posts.
You’re right. That’s a smart workaround. I’ve just decided to wait until I have the gas in my tank to make the original content there. Personal branding is important so I want to do it right.

Hello WA fam,

I guess I do kind of understand the concept crawling by the search engines and looks for keywords. The issue that I am really confused about is why Yahoo! and Bing put me high on their 1st page and Google puts my Facebook business page high on their 1st page but puts my actual website on Page 6.
Strange.

Hi Courtney.
To understand how search engines work is still a mystery to me.
I just know that they work and when you focus your posts on keywords they will bring traffic to your site.
I have noticed that it is harder to rank higher on Google, but as your site grows and gains more authority you will usually see better results.
As long as your Facebook page is linked to your website then you will still see good results.
Ray
always remember to check in a new privacy/incognito window as the search engines tailor your results to what you have been seaerching.
facebook has a bit more authority than your site so will appear higher up in the serps at the moment - when you have been building out your site for a while you should be able to beat that.
keep going and good luck
phil
That is what SEO is all about. We do it because it works the way it is designed for. Now whether the audience clicks may have some different results. This means if you have 10 articles ranked number 1 for their respective keywords and all have the same traffic. The resulting clicks would still be different.
Search engines. do they always work?

Hello WA family,
I would love to post logo's of the products I am marketing on my site. I remember in a training module that Kyle put on the OEC that you cannot put prod
Hi - you need to actually own the product to be able to take a photo of it without any copyright issues.
So, you can't take a photo of an image because the underlying copyright still exists.
If you are promoting the products, have you not joined an affiliate program which will supply the images you need?
Diane,
I do own a product that I am selling and I am aware that I can use that image on my site.
Are you saying that any image on my affiliate network I will be able to use on my site?
Thanks,
Courtney-
The companies that you're affiliated with will often provide images that are specifically for affiliates to use. Ask them.
Hi - they usually allow you to use their images, check their terms and conditions. Yes, you can take a picture of a product in a store and use it.
