What is the top reason for failure?
What is the top reason for failure?
Is it procrastination? Lack of confidence and determination? Or maybe the fear of failure itself?
While all of those are good reasons it is not the top reason.
The main reason is the reluctance to learn. Yes not wanting to learn.

The market is full of people giving the false idea that anyone can get rich easily.
How often have you seen sales pitches like 'no technical knowledge required', 'no skill needed', 'turnkey business'? Done for you just push a button or click the mouse?
Gurus always position themselves as an average Joe and if they can make it, so can you.
As a result of all these, many people have the false impression that they can be successful without having to know much.
Well guess what ? Even those so called gurus had to learn and put in the work. Yes they are correct all of them started out as average Joe's and Janes. With one difference - They LEARNED!!
The more you learn the more control you will have over your future.
Regardless of what you do in life. Take your 9 to 5 job, do you realize your future is in somebody elses hand? What happens if your boss one day says Hey thanks for your past ten years of work but I am letting you go now. What then? Do you have the skills , training or knowledge to move forward?

Excellent post! Learning new things makes you vulnerable. tt exposes your ignorance and leaves you with a humbling experience. Not everybody wants to undergo such an experience. That's why you have so few learners.
Excellent point, Cathy. You don't necessarily have to go to college but you DO have to know/learn something to succeed in life.

Great point Cathy. I've always enjoyed learning but I know when I'm not in the mood I procrastinate which isn't good.
