Binge Watching Jay - What Are You Binge Watching?

Howdy folks, long time no see. Amazing how FAST Febuary flew by! I know it did for me.

So just a fast recap before I get into this actual blog post here Yes Febuary flew by and with it a lot of what I wanted to get done fell by the wayside for one reason or another. So much so that I didn't realize I actually did do some stuff worth celebrating.However I did not celebrate I did the opposite and lost focus. Not only losing focus on my websites and hard work I started doing what I preach not to do. Focusing in on everything that I did not get done!

Now this is a rarity for me and perhaps I needed this as a humbling wakeup call. I would say normally I am about 98% laser focused at all times,and a 200% determined.

The beginning of the month I started out with a bang 3 articles on my site in the first weekend. This brought my overall content to 30 posts and 4 pages. I was very happy about that.

The second week I did nothing but some site comments (giving some and also asking for some on my new post from weekend before.Still very active in WA as I have been since I started..all normal. I even put out a little training on how to get some free traffic.

Then towards the last part of the second week , it happened.....

I made my biggest commission to date $74.98 and that is how I LOST FOCUS everything got blurry.Now you say whattttt but that is great how did that make you lose focus??

Because that one commision was done on my very first site here at Wealthy Affiliate. Now yes that is great and yes very worth celebrating. Plus it does show that the training does work. That site ONLY had 8 posts on it 3 pages plus I have not written anything on it in at least 3 months!

Hence I lost focus on my mainsite(my mmo) and what I was trying to accomplish. I hit the brakes on it. Forgot all about my main WA site,left it in the dust and went running back to my first site. Why ? Because I was like holy toledo batman I better get some content on it!! Well the next few days I did put out another article for that site(up to 9 now) LOL

Wonderful you say...yes and no. Wonderful I published something on my first site. Not wonderful because it took me 2 whole weeks to get back to my main site.

Did I rest on my laurals ..yes for a bit I did. I got bummed out and depressed also about that time because of other life situations and the lack of speed in getting my life back on track.

You see that image up there... It says OWN TODAY something I try to do every day no matter what. Except I got bummed and depressed for the last 2 weeks of Febuary. I didn't own today for those weeks. I sat on my laptop,tired and burned out from the work day and got NOTHING worthwhile accomplished. Of course I cruised WA answered some questions for help..did maybe 3 site comments. Nothing else...no training...no article writing.. NOTHING! Next thing I knew Febuary was gone!

March a new month

March it is said comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.I am hoping this holds true. Lordy knows I need some calming peace in my life. So it is now beggining of March and as I was cruising around WA I said to myself outloud in fact... What the hell are you doing? Do you really want to be successful or not? Yes I am weird I talk to myself and yes I sometimes do answer myself :) Well this time my little Dolly answered me(I guess she thought I was talking to her)

So I stopped what I was doing and picked her up. I mean really who can say no to puppy dog eyes. My little bundle of joy bless her heart decided to step on my laptop keyboard and I have no idea how she did it but...she landed on Jay! yep our very own Jay here at WA.

Hence we started binge watching Jay!

So I said what the heck I am not doing anything anyways let's pick one. What I picked was email marketing 2018. A must watch guys and gals awesome stuff as always from Jay.

Well I ended up this past 7 days not only watching one but ended up binge watching the whole month long series on email marketing 2018 . In a weird sort of way it was the motivation I needed to get back on track. Thanks to Jays email marketing training I am now a proud owner of a new baby aweber account with its first email legacy series started and 2 email blasts under my belt. Yes for my main site,which is also sporting a new optin form thanks to Jays video series and Aweber. It has made me feel more like a marketer and web owner just another step towards a goal of financial and time freedom.

Who else has binged watched Jay? Plus if you have which ones did you binge watch? I am going to be binge watching his football snack helmet case study next.Have any of you watched it and implemented something similar ? If so what have your results been good or bad? As that is along the lines of my next site.
