Back to the 200's - For a bit
Well now I signed in today on this really wet huricane soaked day and Wealthy Affiliate gave me an accomplishment badge. I never really look at stats too much anymore as my focus over the past 2 years here have changed.
At one point early on I was almost obsessed with how high I could rank, I believe I had made it to the 70's at one point. Then I read something that gave me pause.
If your rank numbers are low and the number of posts on wealthy affiliate are higher than your website posts,than perhaps you should be writing on your website more. It made so much sense back than. We are here to help yes but we are also here to make a business.
Fast forward and it does still hold truth especially if you are new. The wealthy affiliate platform can get overwhelming and if you let it can be a full time job in self.
Your rankings will come over time the key is not too be obsessed by them. This will be my x number of times getting to 200 and I will probably be moving higher again as I have more time. My focus and priority is still on running my websites first though.
I also believe in celebrating ALL your successes no matter how big or small they are. It is motivating and can inspire others.
So please join me in regaining my accomplishment badge for the top 200.!! :)

Your sites should be first. Rank is nice but your site rank should rule!!!! Congrats on coming back up to 200 though. 😊

Hi Cathy, I used to take rankings to heart and get quite upset. I am slowly overcoming this distraction. Congratulations in getting into the top 200's.

My ranking has moved up lately, yet I have been learning new things and working on promoting. Balance is everything, and rank does not pay be anything and it will go lower after things get caught up.
