I have 2 e-books for sale on Amazon and realize I need to create an authors website for them. Has anyone on WA have any author sites available that I can check out.
This is a fantastic idea and one i would recommend you doing. I also have some books that are selling well on amazon. I am looking at re-purposing a site i have into one that will showcase my books..
The thing I would do is:
Make sure that your books are on the home page. It would be priority to have them purchase from your site over amazon for many reasons including:
You Get 100% of the sale
You own the site so amazon cannot shut you down.
I would also try to build an email list for future sales and publications.
People resonate with an author more so than a company when it comes to fiction based stuff.

Thanks for responding to my query. However I am enrolled in KDP Select who states emphatically - When you choose to enroll your book in KDP Select, you're committing to make the digital format of that book available exclusively through KDP. During the period of exclusivity, you cannot distribute your book digitally anywhere else, including on your website, blogs, etc. However, you can continue to distribute your book in physical format, or in any format other than digital.
I was going to create a website and link it to my author page on Amazon. I am working on my 3 e-book so if I do not include it in KDP Select I would on my website. Getting Traffic may be a challenge though.
