Getting overwhelmed, what to do next?
I just had to take a break from working on my websites to share with all my WA friends some of the feelings you may get while building a website. I am currently building two sites and I try to stay in my routine of adding new post every day, I take turns with my sites. Well today was supposed to be my day to work on An Income 4 All but when I logged in I received several new comments on my other site " The Traffic Exchange Explained" and I felt they needed to be addressed. As I was replying to the comments I realized that I need to add more info to the site related to those comments. So I started a new post and that lead to me thinking of more info that needs to be added so I started another new post. Well, needless to say, I started feeling a bit overwhelmed by all this work I just gave myself.
So I decided to take a short break to gather my thoughts, I took a few deep breaths and starting thinking , wow this is a good thing! I am filling my site with good helpful content just like I was told to do in my lessons. I remembered somewhere in the lessons I read Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are our websites. I went back to working on my first new post and started the research needed to finish it, the other new post can wait for another day.
Sometimes we get so excited to add a bunch of content to our sites. But one good post full of quality content is much better than two will little info. So my advice to new members here is to take it slow, take the time you need to make your posts the best they can be. Don't rush progress, it will happen just let it ride.
Have a great day,
Cathy

Cat, yes it does get overwhelming for I also feel the same at times. I go off track but then I come back! Taking a break and unwinding all the information we accumulate does work. But of course not a long break... Lol..
I think we all get overwhelmed sometimes but I just take a break when it happens. Thanks for sharing.
I get overwhelmed every once in a while and I have to just stop and play with the grandkids.
I appreciate your words, here, and I continue to wish you every success.

It is definitely easy to get distracted and then get that feeling of overwhelm! I can certainly relate. Thanks for sharing your story!

You have learned one of the lessons that many of us have taken a lot of time to get right. Stepping back can be really productive.
Thanks, yes it does help a lot.
