Do you read your comment replies?
I'm talking about when you leave a comment on a website through Comment Offers and Requests here on WA and the site owner replies to your comment. If you don't it may be a good idea to start reading them especially if you asked a question. When I reply to comments I always answer any questions and sometimes ask a question myself but rarely do I ever get a response. So I am assuming that the majority are not reading my replies. Replying to the reply of the comments you leave on other sites leads to comment conversation. Conversation on your website shows Google that you have an active site with informative content, which is a great boost for SEO. Here at WA we are a community of very helpful people, this is just another way to help other site owners.
When you go to the Offer Comments page here on WA you will see a list of all the comments you left. If they have been approved click on the website and read the reply the site owner left you. If he/she asked you a question or you find you have more to say than add a reply.

I found this article the does a great job at explaining how important comments are for your website.

Good point to bring up Cathy. I totally agree with you on this as far as website comments and feedback. I answer all questions but there has only been a couple of reply back that I have gotten. I think the problem is that most feel the the task is completed when their comments are approved. If the commenter does not ask a question within the comment, then yes it is complete.

Well said Cathy. I did reply to responses to my original comment for a while. From what I could see there was little of that activity happening, so I stopped.
Cathy,
Thanks for pointing this out because it is a bit confusing. I've been very happy with my comments on my site and more so when someone responds to my reply.
Hi, Cathy and thanks to open this question.
I think the same way and even made a couple of replies. Unfortunately, none answer me and quit this idea.
But why not to resume write replies on comments, thus increasing mine to website's content.
Yes, Cathy. I try to reply to every comment that I'm aware of. But then I'm one of the more loquacious members here at WA already. I also appreciate when members reply to me in more than just a single cliche or sentence. But there are so many that comments and blog posts to comment on some days, it's hard to be too involved with everyone.
In the end, there are certain members I've gotten to feel more comfortable conversing with than others, so naturally, I put more time into commenting on their posts and comments.
I need a favor. My assignment is to get 5 people's G+account to add to my circle. Could you help me out on that. Subject I will be commenting on is Alzheimer

Thank you for bringing this up. I have asked questions regarding comments left for me and do not get a reply.
Linda
You're welcome, hope it helps to get more to reply.
Me too.
