I like Steve's suggestion below and it could be very helpful to people going thru similar situations.
I'm pretty much in the same dilemma today Liz! Sorry my friend, but I will take a look at other's ideas here to see if I can get some inspiration too! :)

The "old" songs almost always had good or silly storylines, great blog-fuel. :-)
Here's an idea..
Talk about why some people are perceived to be more successful online than others.
Hope that helps.

I taught writing for a number of years. I have numerous lessons I can turn in to training, now that I can create trainings. What would you like for training on making your writ
Heer is an assemblage of many areas The last two are more generic.
• Copywriting to include writing leads and landing pages
• B2B writing
• Magalogue Writing
• Creating Email Newsletters
• Email Copy writing
• Email List Building
• Freelance Website content writing (probably the one we are most familiar with)
• Graphic Design

• Social Media Marketing writing
• Novel writing
• eBook Writing
This will have to be filtered by people's preferences and what you have expertise in.
Hi.....,
Having gone through the training, lesson by lesson, and built my first site. Then I came to a halt with fleshing it out with content.
So, content writing, more specifically web healthy content, is what I needed to master.
I am a member of AWAI, American Writer's and Artists Inc. Had bought the copywriting course, which languished on the desktop shelf.
So, along with dusting that of, also bought two other courses, Web copywriting and Business to Business.
Knowing that Google loves fresh quality content. Also to balance the writing with readers and SEO, it seemed to me to master that style.
This explains my lack of attendance at WA, for the time being.
In answer to your question, about writing courses and styles, as we are all web based, specific web content writing seems appropriate.
Posted on your profile. Did you complete the main copywriting course? especially the long sales letter in chapter 3.
I love to write but wish I was more creative in my writing......I was a choreographer for many years and creativity always came naturally. I would like to put on paper that creativity that I felt when I was dancing, teaching and choreographing :-)
From reading everybodys little post to you, and my thoughts, you could add a training teaching people how to write like they are talking to the consumer in real life, We all have to get use to writing and addressing with you, and your self. not the me and the I.
These special words get the consumer interested. and we all have a difficult time remembering these word to grab there attention.
Have a great Sunday.
I definately would like to learn more about how to set up a page for referencing authority sources, ecspecially if people with complicated legal protection need to be referenced......
Thanks!
Cheers,
Therese
How about something on the fundamentals. I could use a guide on composition. You could also do some basic rules of grammar, punctuation, and parts of speech.
Also, we have a lot of members here with English as a second language. I admire them. I can't keep it straight as my first and only language! ~Gina
Gina, you're treading a fine line here asking for English grammar punctuation and parts of speech.
I went down that road here at WA and was brought to an abrupt halt.
There are several blogs and trainings that slipped through the cracks before I came along and you'll find them if you type Grammar in the search bar above.
Kyle and Carson have clearly stipulated this is not a Teaching English platform and should not be seen as one. it is first and foremost all about Online Business Marketing.
I have a site listed on my profile page that has been designed to help those with English as their 2nd language here at WA.
If you need anything more specific, let me know and I'll do my best to assist.
Well allrightythen! I did mean as they pertain to writing blog posts but I failed to specify since that is what we do here.
SEO writing, maybe. How to make it interesting? Thanks, Liz. And of course you have your own ideas and plans...:)
Liz I don't know if this can be taught. I would like to learn how to keep readers interested and engaged. It is fairly simple face to face with mannerism and hand gestures. How can that be done with words?
Tim
I have one answer for you... it's called ... ellipses - see the example just used.
This is a means of pausing or adding emphasis when writing, it can bring out a lot of expression as well as using commas, hyphens and colons. It's quite an art! :-)

I am going to build a website for my hubby. He wants one for his ministry. Does anyone know of a theme that would work for that.
There are a lot of different themes available online, but we found it easier to design our own from bits and pieces. I've included one that was done by my grandson, Josh, for us. We don't mind if you want to use it for your Hubby. Josh doesn't even want any recognition for the artwork.
You could take a picture of the church and use it for a theme. Or parts of the inside of the church. Or of the congregation and the choire singing. Just brainstorming with you a bit.
Here is a font of many religious themes Liz-enjoy: https://www.freshdesignweb.com/church-wordpress-themes/
Maybe it'd be good to have a broad theme , something like "God's true blessings" to share the stories of people who got salvation and experienced God's grace in life....
It would be good to know which is the message that your husband wants to teach the audience of his website. The Bible is rich in teachings. There are many issues that can treat the light of the Holy Bible, as are the gifts of the spirit, as Christ changes us by His grace, His providence for our lives and others.

I want to start a site that focuses on writing and where I can have fun writing. Does anyone know of a good blogging theme?
There is a good assortment of free WP themes here Liz: http://www.themegarden.com/free-wordpress-themes/
Thanks Mike, by the way I have 4 writing jobs this week. I put in bids and included some of my blogs, and they "like" my writing style. So you were all right about writing professionally
I use the Iconic One theme. I find it very easy to navigate and everything looks nice and clean.
I use Nature Space. You can change the color of the titles. I like the green but I think I recall from your color blog that you are not a green person! I like that you can customize it a bit but it is still a clean, simple looking theme with just a little color. It is also mobile friendly.
I am using a free one ~ i-transform. It is working well for me. I have also tried twenty thirteen and twenty fourteen. All three are pretty basic and easy to use.
When it comes to just blogging, I think any of the standard WordPress Twenty themes work fine.
Keep in mind, WordPress was initially a blog management system. As such, all the themes are tailored for blogging. Setting it up to look more like a website and not a blog is what takes a bit of tweaking.
Liz, I'm using 2014. May or may not be what you need. Don't have to use the featured image part.
Barbara
TBH its all personal prefernace but kyle does advise something plain and not to distracting as its your content that should have the emphasis

I have a credit card set up, but I would like to switch to paypal to pay my monthly premium. How do I do that?
I was thinking the same thing. I joined by using a credit card but I want to use Paypal now for my monthly payment. thnx for asking this question Liz. And thnx for answering Kevin. i will check your links now :) Bernice
I asked the same thing to Kyle some time ago and this was his answer:
Yes, you can pay through Paypal.
If you want to switch from Paypal => Credit Card or the other way around, you have to cancel and resubscribe on using the different payment type.
You can cancel through the following link:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home/my_profile
Then you will be able to resubscribe directly within your account or you can go to this link.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/resubscribe
This does not affect anything associated to your membership as it will reconnect everything without issue.
Hope this helps you out Kevin!
I also need to switch my monthly payment from credit card to paypal. I go to the link that Kevin mentioned. The first link, is it right that i need to click "Stop Billing and Close Account"? And about the second link, we still can resubscribe with monthly payment and not yearly payment. Is it right?
Thank you.
yup, you just close your account, then immediately reopen and it gives you the option to use paypay. They make you do a survey to end your membership, I just filled in that I was switching payment options.
