Getting there!

Hi folks, progress has been somewhat slow but steady. It's sometimes hard to focus when your are tired but I continue to make the effort needed. I completed my third article at the weekend. I'm keeping with the training slowly but making sure it's as good as I can make it.

The next article will primarally be narrative and this might be my best opportunity to be creative. However I might push the boat out a wee bit more and draft two articles. I'm keeping my feet on the ground.

Setting goals

Having a plan and a goal is often easier said than done. However breaking it down and being realistic is often a wise play. I did do something quite wise though. Before I joined WA I had set up a hosting account on Bluehost wihouth realising they took £203 off me. But on Monday Night cancelled the plan and will get the money refunded. The site wasn't really worked on so nothing was lost.

I though have realised that maybe I need to branch my photography out and maybe begin work on that a second webstie because people are more likely to see my photos. While it might not be a marketing site par se, writing about my adventures might motiviate me to talk aboout my trips and what I see.

However the aim off my affilaite marketing is to simply a) earn a grand a week and b) get enjoyment out of the stuff I write about.

Making plans

Also I'm going to be looking into mind mapping and brainstorming because my ideas formulate far better when I make a plan. Sometimes I forget that diving into something requires time. I'm learning the skills. To me this isn't just about an aim of making money as I enjoy wriiting. It's a talent I've totally forgotten.

I never imagined that this skill could become my business model!

I drove past Faversham on the A2 on Monday night thinking that what I could be doing if I stuck to the plan? I probably would have drivien the other way to catch the glow. Tomorrow is a siginificant day (okay it's Indy day in the US I know) because it will mark an entire first month on WA. I'm shocked at my progress. But finally making the impossible feel possible is really reachable.
