Stop Listening To Gossip!
I remember we used to play a game at school in class called telephone line. We all sat on chairs in a circle. The teacher would start by whispering something in the ear of the pupil sitting next to them. Then that pupil would whisper the same thing in the ear of the pupil sitting next to them and so forth. The last pupil would usually hear something completely different, than the teacher said.
This is the reason why you should not listen to gossip because it is usually not what really happened.
In life, you have to figure out what is true by yourself. If somebody tells you something go and find evidence that it is true. If there is no evidence then you have to use your intuition.
If you listen to gossip you are stopping yourself from moving forward and living your dreams.
Stop listening and start conquering life`s mountains!
Have a great day!

Hi Cathy
We call this game "broken telephone line" and used to play it as young adults as a drinking game too - so, so funny!
Thank you for the share.
Blessings
Louise
Besides the obvious 'jokers' in the circle, it was sometimes startling to see how distorted the message became, especially when the circle ws larger that 5 or 7.
In everyday life this proved to be a valuable lesson although we need occasional reminder, even when hearing the so called 'facts' from people we deem to be 'trustworthy'. They may have been victim of the distorted version already.
Thank you for the reminder.
That is so true, if we hear something then it always pays to check it out for your self.
This is especially true of the online world.
If folks don't know then they are usually making things up.
Validation can be the thing that can propel us forward.
Thanks for sharing, Catherine.
Great advice.... My best friend in life would never have been if I listened to what someone else I knew said about him before we met.
He offered me a lift home from college and we got on like I had known him all my life.
He was eventually my best man and even though we now live in different countries we are still in regular contact.
So find out for yourself don't just take someone else's word as gospel.
If I had I would have missed out on one of the best people in my life.
Cheers

Hi Jim!
I didn`t know the English name for it because we played it at school in Switzerland. It was called "Telefonkabel" so I just translated it. Thanks for your help!
Have a great day!
