I've redirected my email address - cath@thismamalearns - to my personal email address for ease of access.
But how do I send an email from cath@thismamalearns? I don't w
You change your 'from' in the address line to your WA email. You can choose on your email which address you want your recipient to see and reply to.
Yeah its a gmail. Cool! If you have the instructions handy, let me know :)
Otherwise I will have to dig them up and get it sorted finally.
It depends where you receive your private email. For example if it is via gmail then you can set up gmail to send from your @thismamalearns account. You can do the same if you use Outlook. So without knowing more it is hard to say :)

Hey guys,
My biggest source of traffic is Direct (none) in Google Analytics. Does anyone know what this actually is? I can't come up with any explanation for it.
Most of your direct traffic will be from here at WA and even your self when log in to your site from here and "view site"
Cath here is a pretty good explanation of direct traffic possible causes.
Tim
http://blog.analytics-toolkit.com/2015/google-analytics-direct-none-source/
it means they searched your site directly. read this https://megalytic.com/blog/understanding-direct-traffic-in-google-analytics
My understanding of direct traffic is it's typed-in, meaning the visitor types your web address directly into the address bar to get to your site, which I'm assuming would mean it's visitors who have already been to your site and bookmarked it. So yeah... folks like what you have and are coming back.
It just means someone typed in your site without a url. Like http://sitename .com with no /url-4-you at the end. Or they followed a link to your site with no url at the end. They will go to your designated landing page when this happens. :)

Is there any way to tell where Clicks (content) are coming from and what keywords are being used?
Is there any way to tell what content of mine people are finding?
You should be able that via your google analytics. I personally use SumoMe. They have a function called heatmap where you can clearly see what words of phrases people have looked at; It is a great tool and you can work with it for free;
Is there a way to set up Google Analytics or SumoMe to track clicks to my WA blog posts? I've had a bit of a look to see if I could work it out but I'm drawing blanks.
SumoMe looks interesting. I will have to check it out :)
Yes, it is quite possible. I encourage you to try. You start for free. Let me know how it works for you.
If you are referring to the WA affiliate program, this is when you create blog posts here and they get indexed in Google. These will show up as "content" clicks as you get credit for all referral traffic you get for content that you create here at WA (that ranks in Google).
This sort of traffic tends to convert a little lower, but over time this can lead to a lot of referrals and potential income.
Cool, yeah I was referring to the WA Affiliate Program.
Thanks Kyle :) I thought it had to be the blogs. Well, that is a good incentive to improve the quality of my blog posts in future.
Cheers,
Cath

Why is it that sometimes I can create posts using the Visual option in Wordpress and other times it doesn't work and I have to use the Text option instead? is it theme related
Hi - possibly - as Visual/Text are interchangeable in my experience.
The other possibility is any plugins you may have. If they are old, or not supported, their code could potentially interfere with the core workings of WP.
You can deactivate each of your plugins to test this. That won't lose your settings for the plugins, and you can reactivate them afterwards - but it may help you find out whatever is causing the issue you have.
When this has happened to me (on a few occasions), it's purely been down to an erroneous plugin.
I hope that helps?
Cheers, Mark
Thanks for the reply Mark. I'll give this a go when I am on my computer. Cheers Cath
Edited to add - it worked! Thankyou Mark!
