Good luck with the computer. I hope it goes well. Mac computers seem to hold up better than Windows computers. So hopefully the Apple people can help you out. If they can't, check out a company called Tekserve. They used to have a store in Manhattan, but they closed and they only work online. They know more about Apple computers than Apple does.
