Should my static front page relate to to the name of me page?

Not necessarily, as @Tyler96 mentions is a matter of preference, so as long as it is related to the content of your site you can use any title.

Yea, you usually want to keep them the same.

If your site was workathome.com, then you want the name of the web page to be Work At Home.

But that's just my preference, maybe some more people can chime in with their input as well.

What other information about a theme page lets you know its a multiple page theme?

The word 'child themes' is often included to indicate multiple formats within a single theme.

I have switched to the SKT Coffee theme. It seems to have more options than the 2014. Am i correct?

I am not familiar with that theme, sorry.

I'm still having trouble getting my menu set the way I want. I have tutorials, but the options in the tutorials are not available on my page.

I would like to add things

Your menu is for posts, pages and categories. Your products should be on a page or post. If you want to use a static page instead of a blog roll then go to Settings > Reading and select the page there. Try not to get ahead of the lessons.

All these problems are easily solvable, so do it one by one, and ask specifically.

About greeting message, easy; make it a sticky post which will be on the top of your blog roll without read more option (full post). Or make it a static home page and in that case define a separate page (container) for your blog roll.

Links: all explained in Certification Courses through examples. You link directly in the text.

Etc, all doable.

I was having some of the same problems and I ended up having to change the theme. I'm hoping that won't be the case with you. Check out this link and tell me if this helps. I'm hoping this will help you...

I'm having some challenges. is this normal?

Just looking for some opinions or advice

I would like for my blogs to be across the top of the page too, as it appears in the theme page layouts. but I haven't been able to find how to do that.

Also, i'm curious if I should provide links to the products within my current blogs, or should I have a link in the menu bar specifically for the products?

Another question, how can I install an "about page" blog, as the theme shows, when people click onto my site, instead of my latest blog post?

Hi Jim, I think it's better to provide links to the products within your current blogs in my opinion.
As far as I know you're able to create a separated page for your 'about page' and it would be easier if you do it on your own domain. It's like creating a new page. I hope I got what you mean correctly if else explain some more )

Best,
Ali
