Thanks a lot for the input. I went into screen option and deleted several column headings that I didn't need like author and the columns automatically got bigger again.

Make your browser wider to fix the column spacing. I sometimes have to click the icon at the very bottom of the menu to reduce the width of the menu and make the other columns wider. Perhaps WordPress will fix this issue in an update.

I had this issue when I was experimenting with themes and changing themes a lot.

I don't know why it happens, but ever since I stuck with the theme I have now, I haven't seen this issue since. Consider switching themes? Or updating themes?

Hi Cat, you need to login to your account at Blue Host and change the DNS settings to ns1.mywahosting.com and ns2.mywahosting.com

I agree try SurfsideBob's idea out first.

Try going into Customize > Site Identity > Site Title.
Or Settings > General and change your site title there.

I'm not that stuck on ratings but seeing the number go down was encouraging. What I can't believe is that my ranking rose by 8,000 points. There has to be an explanation for that big of a hike.
I'm focused on my business, but I just noticed the rankings and was depressed with it rising so much.

I saw someone asking this in the live chat yesterday and Kyle was there, Kyle said something about updates to ranking system, it now also takes into consideration how long you have been a members (and maybe other new metrics). He said keep active rank will adjust... but he also said something naturally very important: keep focus on your own business

That also happened to me in the last couple of days my ranking went from ? 800 ish to over 4000. I am trying not to look at at it. Sometimes I only have time to work on my lessons. If this effects my rank I don't care. I have to get me going before I get others going.

I'm with Lorrie, don't worry about your ranking, that's not your primary reason for being here. I've been at 500+ one day, & 2000+ the next. I'm not much concerned about it, as my reason for being here is to learn, & help where I can. :)

There is an algorithm that calculates your ranking. My suggestion is that you focus on building and growing your business. While many aspire to being in the top 100, it's not an easy task. With so many people joining WA on a daily basis, not to mention how much time you spend engaging and contributing with the community all play a role.

While it's important to engage and connect with others here on WA, it's more important to work on your business and succeed.

I must admit, it's so easy to get caught up in the community. Use it wisely. You will meet many great and inspiring people and get really good advice and tremendous support.

Wa, in the background, has been working on changing the way the ranking alorithm works.
They have found that members who post comments of 'thats good' everywhere have been able to become in the low hundreds without addin any value to the community.
Wa are looking for different ways to achieve a realistic ranking method and have not found it yet.
Don't worry too much about the number you have - you may jump around a bit.
the main thing to do is to help out in the community and add value to the comments you post.
You will find that there has been a hidden update in the system recently which has changed a lot of ranks - mine rose by 32!

In the time I have been with WA - over 5 years now - I have been ranked anywhere between top 200 and 3600, which is where I am today - an overnight drop of 1600 or so.

I am not unduly concerned with this as my main objective is to connect with the community, give what help I can and take what training I find relevant, whilst always concentrting on growing my business.

It is easy to become paranoid about rankings on WA but so unnecessary;you will rise automatically when you make contributions by posting, responding and helping.

There were some big fluctuations in the ranks yesterday which usually indicates that they've tweaked something in the algorithm.

Your WA rank, whether up or down, is not going to affect your website or your income. Except if you spend the time at WA that you should be spending on your business.

This happens from time to time when the system get tweak based on everyone activities... Moreover, it changes daily based on your engagement of paying-it-forward to helping other members. Obviously the people that engages more numbers goes down than those with less engagements.

Do not get discourage just keep working and your will see good result soon...

It may be a technical issue. Mine dropped about 100 places overnight. I was going to wait until morning to see what it is then. I'm not really that concerned about rank but it was a little depressing to drop out of the top 200 when I worked so hard to get there. Let me know what happens tomorrow.
