I loved this insight of yours. Here's a theory.
If WA charged $5000 a year for the membership fee there would be fewer members. But I am certain that those who pay that amount, will do everything to get their money's worth. One of the reasons why WA charges so little is to give as many individuals the chance of turning their lives around.
But here's the rub. Not everyone who joins WA understands the value of what they have got. Hence, they don't think twice about doing nothing. Because if they fail to do nothing, it is easy to justify that failure by thinking the course didn't cost that much anyway. So there was very little to lose,
How foolish. But we know better. All we cam do is to tell it like it is and hope others listen.

Your theory makes a lot of sense, Edwin.
However, whether I spend $5.00 or $5,000.00, I make sure that I get my money's worth.
Not everyone thinks that way though.

That would be a great idea but Alex bring up a great thought. We really don't have anyway to monitor any of the members if they are actually doing the work or not. Because it would not be fair to anyone to receive that certification badge without knowing for sure that member did what they are suppose to do. Carson hasn't come up with that idea yet. If that could happen then I say let's go for a certification badge. But unless you really know for sure I would not pursue that avenue quite yet.

Some good feedback here.
In my humble opinion, this may be easier to accomplish than we think.
Learning is driven virtually these days and there are tools for assessments and testing that we could incorporate.

Ever since the start of the pandemic everything has changed in the way we do things.
I am only guessing but I am also guilty of this too and that is over thinking the process. It is really not that hard to do.
Things are getting somewhat easier but we still have a long way to go. We have a new normacy now. Nothing like we had before.

Oh yes don't I know that. I had two children's book published I have third one almost done and I stop.
This is helping me with my writing because I didn't ever realize it before but it is relaxing and I can focus on what I am doing.
With me blogging is going to help those creative juices flowing again. And that is a awesome feeling to have.

Interesting, I never really thought about getting a certification Badge from WA. I suppose the way the training is set up it is hard for them to be certain someone has not just gone through it and clicked done as opposed to doing the work and building a site (following through).

Alex, with AWAI's training, there is an online exam at the end of each module and a final exam at the end that covers a general walkthrough.
I am certain that we can do the same.
It will add to our credibility.

I like your line of thinking! Certainly, the training at WA is worth so much more than they charge. I have been a member of AWAI for quite some time, as well. I took several of their courses and found them lacking what I was looking for so I joined WA and it was one of the best decisions I have made.

Karin, I agree about AWAI.
However, I have worked through and received their "Certification Badges" and they have served me well.
I also enjoy collaboration and networking for business.
That is it!
WA is FAR superior.
