In Trinidad & Tobago, we are blessed with a very diverse population and we enjoy holidays for most of the major religious holidays. So, today is a holiday here and we have been gifted a ridiculously HOT day!
2020 Q3 Begins
This is the last week of my quarter 2 (Q2) for 2020. I do not work very much in December as I use it as a month to rest, relax and rejuvenate for the following year.
So, during this week, I my number one priority is to review the past 6 months and recalibrate for the second half of my year. I measure my accomplishments against my targets and make the changes that I think are necessary to get back or stay on track.
Overall, my progress continues to be good and I am moving in the direction that I want to be. The learning at WA has moved from being overwhelming to being manageable and I think I have now found a firm footing and can move forward confidently and with a bit more speed.
My Happiest Accomplishment
I have shared many posts about my journey her at WA, so I will not repeat myself. I invite you to visit my profile page and read some of my posts if that interests you.
There are many accomplishments that continue to make me proud. The one that makes me the happiest though is finally finding my niche.
Yes, it has taken me about 6 months to do that.
Why, do you ask?
Well, all of this was new to me. I realise now that, although my career started in the field of IT back in the 80s, I grew out of touch with all that had happened in the last 30 years.
I had A LOT of catching up to do!
Before I started to learn, it hit me that I had to UNLEARN and completely change my mindset about how online business works. Some offline concepts remain true. It is business after-all. But, there are some fundamental differences.

My grandmother always said that to us when things were not going as we wanted them to. It is similar to saying: God helps those who help themselves.
Let me be clear. I was not struggling. I was intentionally searching. There is a difference.
Searching led me to re-searching, which led to a deeper understanding of what I wanted and needed to learn. I am much happier and clearer for it all.
It is a hot and sunny day today but the breeze that is blowing is strong and fresh. It reminds me about how I feel at this time in my WA journey.
Since finding my niche and pulling together all the support that I need, the synergy continues to grow and everything is falling into place nicely.

I sincerely extend my gratitude to everyone at WA who has shared with me, taught me, guided me, pulled me in when I needed it and helped me to become stronger and more learned as a Digital Entrepreneur and individual.

Lol! COVID-19 is treating me TERRIBLY Cassi! The pandemic has been constantly avoiding me ever since it appeared on US shores.
How have you been faring down in Trinidad?
Charles, avoiding you is a good thing, no?
From all international indications, we are faring very well here.
Oxford University has ranked us as No. 1 in the world for our management and efforts to mitigate the spread and flattens the curve.
That said, Trinbagonians abroad are now banging on the door to return home for safe shelter.
Many from your home country, the USA.
So . . . all good here.

Thank you Cassi for this post. I am struggling with the initial niche I started during my training. I am still searching for that passion that everyone talks about. I like many things and love some, but none hold that Passion for me that I am searching for.
I keep plugging along, and I know eventually that one thing will hit me. This post just helps me to realize that not everyone finds their Passion right away, and that is okay.

Sometimes you find your passion while looking somewhere else.
It may trigger a feeling or thought that REALLY echos for you.
