Keep Writing - From A Low Of 58 In 30 To A High Of 685 In 11 - Days!
We have discussed a lot about writing this week. This is important. Writing is critical to you success online as an Affiliate Marketer.
Remember as well that to be a good writer, reading must be embraced as well.
Set yourself some little goals with your reading and writing and build on those, every day. You have to start somewhere and if you are serious about enjoying long-term success online, then I know that you will find a way.
Your feedback this week has been exceptional and I am very thankful for all the discussions. In sharing, you have helped me learn also and find further clarity.
There is always room for improvement.
Measure Your Progress
One of the tasks that you want to build into you goals is measurement of you progress.
- How will you know if you have made any growth if you do not look back?
- How will you know if you are moving in the right direction?
- How will you know where more effort is needed?
- How will you know if you are getting the right results?
By looking back every so often and measuring your progress.
Rami will tell you that I like statistics. 🙂 They have a purpose and help me to make decisions based on fact.
This morning, I did a simple review of my Wealthy Affiliate (WA) Stats to see how my posts were driving traffic. I was pleased to see the results.
November 2019 - 30 Days
I joined WA in October 2019. In November, still green, I was struggling with writing and finding my voice. I wrote 12 WA blogs and for the entire month my Content Clicks was 58!
No Raw or Unique Clicks. That is not even 2 Clicks a day.
What did I do? To start with, I did not beat myself up about it. It was then that I put on my Rocky armour. Have you ever seen the movie 'Rocky'?
That movie still inspires me!
Today his statue looks out over Philadelphia, arms raised in pure celebration of his success.
But, if you have not seen the movie, you will not appreciate what it took out of him to achieve that. I have been to those 72 stone steps and it is no easy feat to run up them the way Rocky did.
But that is what happens when you invest the time and effort needed to strengthen you skills. Those stairs became easy pickings for Rocky and writing can become easy for you too.
Train every day!
September 2020 - 11 Days
I checked my WA Stats this morning and smiled.
In just 11 days, I have written 8 WA blogs and received 685 Content Clicks. That is a daily average of 62 and a monthly average of 1,868!
Remember where I was in October 2019?
Look at what is happening to my Raw and Unique Clicks too. They are following the same trajectory.
These Stats are only for my WA blogs. I am enjoying similar success with my websites and will share more about those stats later on. The Law of Numbers applies to eveything.
If you are consistent enough, success will happen.
Jay has given us a superb challenge this weekend and I want to encourage you to take him up on it. These initiatives will help you keep focused on writing and stretch you as you continue to become a better writer.
You want to enjoy it so much that you miss it deeply when you do not do it. THAT is when you know.

I was a big Rocky fan many years ago. At one time I played Aussie rules football. My brother in law and I joined a team that hadn't won a single match ever.
My brother in law was the coach and he had us watching part of a Rocky movie before each game ( he also introduced a great fitness program). We started winning games immediately.
You're right Cassi, if you find whatever it is that motivates you, and work at self improvement, you will succeed.
