I Was Overloaded Yesterday. What A Disaster!
Yesterday was a Murphy's law Day. One of those days that just wanted to remind me that he always has the upper hand.
New Domain, Website and Income
After doing my usual, rising at 5:00 a.m., I got down to preparing for an Executive Management Meeting with a Client. This was a very important meeting as I was presenting a proposal to expand my engagement and launch a new digital product.
Think a new domain, website, blogging, additional revenue, etc. And of course, increased retainer fees. ๐
Our 10:00 a.m. start moved to 10:30 a.m. Although we agreed on a 12:00 noon end, we did not finish until 1:15 p.m. All good!
My proposal was accepted and I am now pleased to report that a new domain, website and revenue source has been added to my WA portfolio. That calls for some Google Juice. ๐
Murphy Woke Up
It seemed that the late start was just Murphy getting out of bed.
I drove back to my home/office excited to complete my WAchievement Wednesday tutorial, only to discover that, because of heavy rains and floods, (it's hurricane season), we had no electricity.
A quick call to the electricity company revealed that 2 transformers had blown and this would take a while.
What a bummer!! Well, not totally. Murphy was not going to get the upper hand.
We changed plans. Our bags were packed and we headed off into the mountains for to relax.
Today is another public holiday in Trinidad & Tobago, Republic Day. So, we decided not to listen to Murphy but rather to the Gods who were telling us that a break was needed. ๐
Training Completed
We are back home and Managing Overload 101 was successfully released today. A few hours behind schedule but, life happens that way sometimes.
If your time permits, have a read and give me some feedback.
In my effort to avoid being overloaded, I am grabbing some more Google Juice and enjoying it while watching a hilarious movie with Zafirah.
It is a holiday after all. ๐
Hope your day is going well.

No one can predict when Murphy (or Sod as I prefer) will stick the proverbial oar in. We can, however, react in a manner that carries us through and past the turbulent times, not allowing frustration and emotion to manifest and play into the welcoming arms of chaos.
God to hear, that 'R&R', though infrequent, is so important. It's easy to become jaded without realising it.
All good here๐ thank you.

Cassi, I knew a good planner like you would not let a little thing like a hurricane get in the way. What is a guy like Murphy doing in your territory anyway, he is Irish, sounds like you gave him a resounding boot out of the way and continued on, good for you. Sounds like there might be a little alcohol in that Google juice LOL. Can I get the recipe so when I work on my WA stuff I can get juiced up too, please.

You have started my day with a hearty laugh, Joe. ๐
Yep!
As you and Debbi have said, always have something tucked in those back pockets.
The mountains were beautiful - VERY hot but so refreshing to be in nature.
Now that Google Juice. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
We still can't get Jay to share his blend.
My blend does have some neat rum and I am happy to send you some recipies.
I trust that you are well.
Thank you for sharing.
