How BRANDING Is Moving My Business Forward - Cassi Of Troy
It is amazing how branding is moving my business forward especially when it was almost accidental.
I have written a lot about my use of branding to build my online business reputation, gain recognition and, most importantly, attract Clients and revenue. You have to know the best time for you to launch your brand.
However, I would encourage you to do that sooner rather than later.
And here's why.
1. You Are Easier To Find With A Brand
When you add up all the places that you create a presence for yourself in on the internet, you start to realise how powerful a brand can be.
- Wealthy Affiliate (WA)
- Your website(s)
- YouTube
- Quora
- Medium
Every time you write content in these and other places, it can be found by the Search Engines. Things become much easier when your brand (you) can be found using one handle (your brand name).
2. Your Brand Earns Respect And Authority
It is much easier to remember a proper brand name rather than Klmbt2341 or DaWolFnter. What complicates that more is when you also add another name or tag, accompanied by the name of your website AND domain!
Things start to get really mixed up then.
Think about all the online successes: Neil Patel, Pat Flynn, Brian Clark or our own JayNinja, Magistudios. What do they have in common? We know them by name and their name is their brand.
Their brand has been built over years of consistent hard work and dedication and all under their brand umbrella.
3. Your Brand Becomes More Valuable Over Time
I cannot even wrap my head around what the brand 'Neil Patel' would be valued at today!
What I can tell you is that I am watching my online brand, Cassi Of Troy, become more valuable every day. The incredible thing about that is it started with a single blog post here in WA on 15 October 2019.
2 years - only 2 years later, I have over 1,000 pieces of content across the internet. This excludes the countless images, comments, etc. that I produce on a daily basis.
Can you imagine what those numbers look like for Jeff, Partha, Diane or Magistudios?! I am not sure I can count in such large numbers.
4. Your Brand Earns Good Income
This morning I welcomed a new Client into our online branding portfolio. It is a small design firm that wants to transition its market from Jamaica to the world.
I will be helping them design a new online image and also define a knowledge brand for their 3 partners and help them to build their content.
Of course, in time I will also guide them towards monetizing their website.
They found me via Facebook and a post I shared titled: "When Your Brand Starts To Get Noticed . . ."
Some Closing Thoughts
There is no end to the possibilities and potentials of a career or profession online. What is required are:
- the absorption of the training in WA,
- diligent application of what you learn,
- some creativity and risk to experiment and try new things,
- The willingness to change your script, and,
- patience to realise the fruits of your labour.
The only limitation is YOU!

I totally agree with you that branding one's business does have value. It takes time and is totally worth it.
Would you agree that ur brand is based on the Domain name we use for our websites? Alternately it could be the title we use for our website. The two doesn't have to be the same.

Edwin, there are many angles that a brand could be approached from.
For me, everything aligned - Cassi (short for Cassandra), Of Troy (the Greek play on my name).
I thought that there was also a good ring to it.
Cassandra was a Greek Princess who could see into the future.
So, I help people change their life script - if they listen. :-)

So true, Cassi. Brand building is very important to a successful business. WA helps us to expand our brand in meaningful ways through their systematic teaching.
Build the site, get a logo, favicon, go social, etc.
I never stop learning here and, also, we are encouraged to learn more from as many sources as possible. WA is the starting point where we build the foundation. The sky (internet) is the limit from then on.
I am very happy for you that your brand is gaining more recognition.

Cassi, I am glad that you took the risk you did. You have proven time and again that YOU have the means to make a difference in a person's life.
