Being in Wealthy Affiliate (WA) means that you have everything that you need to succeed right at your fingertips. All the training, support, technical framework - everything! Yet still, many of our members are finding it difficult to build a successful business online.
There must be a reason for that and I am willing to bet that my #1 tip for 2022 is an important reason why.
#1 Staying Power
If you follow the financial success of our WA members who have been able to secure good income, you will notice something in common. They all had to invest time and effort over a long period of time.
That could have been 6 months, 12 months, 1 year. Maybe 2. The important thing is that they stayed with it no matter how difficult it was.
They pushed through every hurdle and came back to try again.
In other words, they are resilient.
Simple Model, Great Effort
As simple as our model for building an online business is, it does require a lot of effort. For most of you, this is totally new and it requires tremendous learning, experimentation and patience.
Anything that is new has a learning curve. The steepness will depend on you and what you invest.
The model is not rocket science and it is proven to work if you work it.
Every year I see many people come and go without having given this opportunity and themselves the opportunities they deserve.

Thank you for another inspiring and very positive blog post, I may be eight days late, but your wise words still apply!
Sorry, Cassie, I have got a bit carried away, I have almost written a blog post rather than a comment, not deliberate! I think it's probably because I'm passionate to see people win with their online business.
It's so true, at Wealthy Affiliate we have everything we need in one place, we do not need anything else to get started. Even with the premium membership, there's more than enough content for the average member to take in. And of course, even the free membership gives everyone a good taster before they pay for full membership.
When I first started researching Internet marketing, back in 2004, I was very eager to learn, however, I had a nasty disease that was difficult to clear up. It was known as shiny object syndrome, it's an unpleasant disease and can cause financial difficulties if not treated promptly! Part of the reason for this unpleasant disease was that I could see the power of the Internet and yet I didn't know how to make it happen!
I often think that if I had found Wealthy Affiliate back in 2004 it would have saved me an absolute fortune. I spent so much money going from one shiny object to the next shiny object thinking that would be better. It took me three years before I started making money online. With Wealthy Affiliate, what took me three years could probably be achieved in 4 to 6 weeks if a member follows the training.
The reason I say the above is if there are new members reading this, you do not need anything else apart from Wealthy Affiliate to be successful!
Regarding, "staying power", I believe this is something that many members struggle with. With any business, there is a terrific amount of work to get started, whether it's an online business or offline business. Unfortunately, the Internet does have rather a lot of distractions, which probably makes it more difficult to get started and to keep moving forward.
The most powerful and simple action that I have seen from successful Internet marketers is consistency and the willingness to push through, as you rightly said, Cassie. We need to take every opportunity to push through barriers and minimise distractions.
The Wealthy Affiliate model is designed in an excellent way to take people through every step of the way. The video modules along with action points really give you everything you need to move your online business forward. And the great thing is that we can come back to the videos and training at any point. I often refer to the videos on a regular basis as it's easy to forget things.
The great thing is that there are many members on this platform that have had great success. It's good for us to learn from these successful Internet marketers.
As you mentioned Cassie, if we take solid action we can also be successful.
