Do You Have ENOUGH IN YOUR TANK To Be A Successful Online Entrepreneur?
What Is Your Fuel Level?
This could be a mind-game but I swear that when my vehicle has a half tank of fuel - or less - it does not work well. Somehow, when I pull into the gas station and fill it up, it sounds better, works better and has a lot more pep.
Again. I could be wrong. It could just be my mind playing tricks on me.
This also got me thinking about my own fuel level and where it is at.
What is your fuel level?
Have you ever given that any attention?
On a scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest), I would say that my fuel level, right now is a 7.
With good reason.
A Full On Weekend
The weekend was full on for us.
I worked into the wee hours of Saturday and Sunday morning, making parts of costumes for over one hundred (100) of Zafirah's school mates.
Their Sports Day is this Friday coming and her House is giving their all to win the March Past, Cheerleading Burn Out and Dance Off.
The parents are helping them make the costumes while they practice, practice, practice for the day's activities.
Two (2) nights of little sleep has taken its toll on me this morning. But, with a "mind over matter" attitude, I will push through.
That is not sustainable though.
No Longer Have Enough In The Tank
The world is abuzz with Jacinda Ardern quotes. Her reason for resigning as New Zealand's Prime Minister was that she "no longer had enough in the tank".
I admire her honesty. More than that, I admire the fact that, as a Leader, she knows when it is time to step down and do things differently.
And that brings me to us at Wealthy Affiliate (WA).
1. It is the start of 2023, do you have enough in your tank to take you through the year?
2. Do you have enough fuel to do your business justice?
3. Is there enough fuel in your tank to sustain your efforts for the duration of your journey?
4. Are you making the necessary pit stops to refuel?
How you start will impact how you finish.
Rest when you need to.
Take the time to nurture yourself.
Invest in you self-care.
Pay attention to your fuel gauge.
Always remember, if you are not getting the results that you want, you hold the power to Change Your Script!

At times it seems that we are running on fumes. It's not easy but we gotta keep fuel in the tank. My goal is to always keep at least a half of tank of High-Octane fuel at all times.

Thank you for your blog post, as always, it's appreciated. It's good to hear from you, I am also aware that you're very busy.
Rest is a massive part of being successful, I appreciate that we all get busy at times, but rest is so important. I know they have been times when I have stayed up later to finish something. However, it can be payback time in the morning, as I know productivity can drop rapidly, which is not clever.
It's easy to think that we are working really hard and getting loads of things finished, but are we really being productive? In most cases, probably not!
If members are not getting enough rest, they need to change their script!

Sadly I hear of so many stories where people become burnt out, which is not good and that is not how life is supposed to be. There's only so much work that we can achieve in a day. However, if we start our work in the morning and are refreshed, we can achieve so much more.

Cassi, sometimes our brain can get its fuel gauze on E-empty. As you said, rest and taking care of one’s health is the best way to regain the brain’s fuel gauze to F-Full. Recharging helps us to maintain our productivity during the week and to change our script. Thanks for sharing.

Being raised in West Texas and living in New Mexico in my early adult years, a full gas tank was essential. You fill up when there is an opportunity. That is not your imagination telling you that the tank needs to be filled.
Our rule of thumb is still important for traveling across the country or to the grocery store! Fuel is important in both transportation and daily living. Don't get stranded with low or no fuel.

I do feel that my fuel gauge is a little lower than it should be on occasion, then it is best to take a step back, get in some much needed R&R until the tank is again full!
