One of our Wealthy Affiliate (WA) members, Hilde, has been enjoying a lot of success these days. Hilde recently celebrated 1 year at WA and is enjoying good progress and success.
Her recent post prompted me to ask: "Are you leaving affiliate income on the table?"
The answer is "yes", I am. Here's a neat tip to remind you that, from day 1, you could be positioning yourself for success and to earn affiliate income, right here at WA.
WA Affiliate Programs
As WA members, your first 2 affiliate programs are just a click away.
You are an affiliate for WA and will receive commissions whenever your Referral upgrades to Premium or Premium Plus. This affiliate program can take you to Super Affiliate status with all the perks, including an all-expenses trip to Las Vegas.
There is another affiliate program though that many members use for their business but do not capitalise on for income.
It is Jaaxy, of course!
One of the Best Keyword Research Tools
I know that I am talking to the converted here when I say that Jaaxy IS one of the best keyword research tools on the market.

You use the powerful features of Jaaxy every day as you build your content which means that promoting it should be second nature to you.
Promote Jaaxy in your Content

An insert like the one below is easy to drum up using Canva:
Add a link to the ad, (use Pretty Links if you choose) and there you have your Jaaxy affiliate promotion implemented.
I usually promote Jaaxy in my content and have been enjoying some encouraging success.
Even if I do nothing more than continue to do what I am doing, at some point, conversions to sales will start to happen. It is just a matter of time.

I just want to add one caveat.
If your site isn't about Wealthy Affiliate or making money online, DO NOT include a link to Wealthy Affiliate "just in case." It's confusing to your readers and it's confusing to Google. Only post content that makes sense for your topic.

I promote it on my Affiliate and MMO websites and that seems to be working very well.
Also, I do reviews for those sites that I backlink to.

I try to promote Jaaxy as often as I can in my blog posts.
I have 2 reviews on 2 of my websites and I backlink to those posts in my content as I showed in this WA blog post.
It's quite simple to do and a good retention tactic to keep visitors on your site.

I appreciate the affiliate marketing tips, very helpful indeed. Can you believe that I never ever have tried to promote Jaaxy or have a single link on my website to promote the product! Something needs to change, I believe. And of course, we now have the extra bonus of being able to promote, Premium Plus, another great source of information and a great product.
I hope to start introducing a Google AdWords campaign to one of my websites to try and increase sales. Secondly, I want to create more action type, YouTube videos, rather than screen sharing videos, two new goals!

I've used Google AdWords for online and offline businesses. There is quite a bit to learn as the AdWords platform is quite comprehensive, however, if it brings in business at the right price, it has to be good!
One of the good things is with AdWords is the fact that you can set a daily or monthly budget. It's a great way to keep in control of finances.

My apologies for the late reply, I have had a couple of early morning starts in my off-line business!
I'm fortunate that I have a Webmaster in the States who helps me with my AdWords campaign. I believe there is training on Wealthy Affiliate regarding Google AdWords, I haven't checked it out but I'm sure it's good. We will often go through the AdWords account together, I have to say it certainly does seem very deep.
I do believe that there is a very fine line with Google AdWords. If you're not careful you can pay for words that Google thinks you want, but you don't actually want!
However, I would definitely look into it in the future.
