It is also important to remember that you have all the tools that you need to build your online business, right here, at Wealthy Affiliate (WA).
Alphabet Soup is one of the AWESOME tools that you have at your fingertips. From the private messages and calls for help that are directed to me regularly, I have concluded that it is not used as much as it should be.
Jaaxy Should Be Your Best Friend
In our business, Jaaxy should be at the very top of your tool bag and within easy reach whenever you need it.
One of the things I like to do is tinker with Jaaxy to kill time when I am waiting or just relaxing. That's when I can make that usually wasted time valuable.
Keywords are your ingredients!
You cannot bake a great cake if you do not have the best ingredients. That's what your keywords are and why you should be investing A LOT of your time researching keywords.
When you are starting out, stay with what you are taught:
QSR - under 50. This is the number of websites that you are up against. Keep it low. I go for under 25.
Traffic - over 30. This is how many visitors you can attract to your site IF you get to the first page on Google. That is your goal. Keep it high.
SEO - above 90. This tells you that IF QSR and Traffic are ideal AND you write a good blog post, you have a really good chance of ranking on page 1 of Google. I usually aim for 95 and higher.
Simple.
Then . . . Say the Alphabet
When you find those magic keywords, head on over to Alphabet Soup and put them in.
Click 'Find Keywords' and let the magic happen.
With a quick count, I got 135 keyword variations to choose from!
Use The Tools That You Have
If you are a Premium or Premium Plus member at WA, you are paying for Jaaxy.
Why waste it?
That is exactly what you will be doing if you are not using it.
Do not go searching all over when you have one of the BEST keyword search tools right in front of you.

The alphabet soup technique is so simple and yet so great for keyword ideas. It's definitely something we need to take advantage of.

I hear you, big time! Jay has a great understanding of the Internet and how it works, I should be paying more attention to his training, to be fair! I try and listen to his training when I'm working my off-line business. However, there are many times when I should really be watching the screen to get the full benefit of his training.
I'm glad that business is progressing well, that's good news. My off-line business is extremely busy, which is good, however, I would like to have more time to build my Internet business. I can't complain, as the Internet business is also making money.

Hey Cassi!
Jaaxy is certainly one of the most powerful tools we have at our fingertips here.
But, I do still struggle a little when using the Alphabet soup function.
Perhaps, dedicating a bit more time each day to playing around with it, will help me understand how it can be more beneficial for me.

Hi Cassi, thank you for sharing this information. I am OK with Jaaxy except when it comes to finding the ranking of a particular URL.
I always get the following message and have never been able to use the ranking feature in Jaaxy.

In your screenshot above, your QSR for those 2 search terms is 44 and 55 and until now, I have been following Kyle's training about keeping it under 30.
Jay of Magistudios also had an example in one training I followed, where QSR was higher than 30.
I'm going to possibly have to return to my drawing board.

When I started building my content, I focused on keywords with a very low QSR, under 30.
Now I have eased a bit and am working with under 50/60 as my sites are a little older.
Give yourself more allowance as you grow.

It is true if we are not using Jaaxy then we are not utilizing our WA membership to its fullest potential.
Jaaxy provides us with the framework to build our articles and without it, we are just writing for fun. Which is ok, but not what we want to be doing.
