30 Minutes 1,310% Impressions Growth On Pinterest
Over the past 3 weeks, I have been investing some time in better understanding how Social Media (SM) can build my organic traffic. I chose 2 SM platforms, Facebook and Pinterest and I am pretty much learning all that I can, while implementing along the way.
The results are more than promising and I am seeing the potential for building consistent organic traffic. The key word here is, consistent.
To achieve this, you also have to be consistent with your efforts.
Are you familiar with GIGO? Garbage In, Garbage Out? Well that just means you will get out of something what you put into it.
The Numbers Are Motivating
This week, from 1 post on Facebook, I saw some significant results with 5 Referrals in one night. In my experience, Facebook takes a bit more concerted effort, so I will continue to invest effort there and report at a later date.
Pinterest, as everyone keeps saying, is where I am seeing the most growth.
On Wednesday, I started investing about 30 minutes every day to my 2 Pinterest Business Accounts. This morning, I was pleasantly surprised to see this progress:
This is what my performance looks like, after only a few days:
An increase from 28 Impressions on Wednesday to 1.62K on Thursday! And that is only 1 Account. The trajectory is the same for the other, moving from 11 Impressions to 290, in 1 day, with much fewer Pins.
Top Boards And Pins
I really like the Business Stats that Pinterest provides. You can see your top Boards and Pins.
One of my created Pins is receiving a lot of Impressions and I intend to leverage this to drive traffic to my websites.
I will use this data to continue to add and create Pins for my Boards and also expand my Board mix.
Invest Your Time Strategically
There is a lot of information available to us. It is up to you to be clear on your strategy and stay true to your path. Do not be afraid to slow down when you need to and experiment to see what works for you.
There is no way that you can do all the SM platforms effectively, on your own. Either invest in additional resources or, choose the ones that work best for you.

This is true Cassi,
I spent the last 3 weeks doing things like PPC campaigning and learning about Forex trading, then wanted to build some funnel sites for Clickbank products..then things stalled a bit.
By this last Friday, I hadn't planned and 4pm came by before I realised the reason why I hadn't really "done" anything...I was tired of being at the computer all day! Eyestrain, back ache, the works...
So I spent the whole of Saturday just resting and went to sleep early...I'd been having late nights for the past 2 weeks and my body was not having any more of that. It rebelled...
After a good night's rest, I'm up to getting my Pinterest traffic up again and gaining a resurge in traffic from Quora - I use Facebook, Pinterest, Quora - If time allows I might invest in doing Youtube videos as Pinterest and Quora just take 30 mins each. Facebook the same...Just need a good camera and we're off til 2021..
This is going to be fun!

I love Pinterest so far. I’m getting similar results for my two websites. I’m encouraged as each day goes by, and I’m consistent with pinning each week. So I’m glad to hear your progress on Pinterest- we’re doing something right!

Great work, Cassi. Consistency is of the essence when it comes to social media and also the relevant content on th e post and pins.
Tailwind has some great guides when it comes to both Pinterest and Instagram.
Keep pushing and be true to your strategy on FB and Pinterest.
After my battle with Pinterest I will try to use FB for my Pet´s niche.
