Question
Hello
I am a beginner with WA looking for a few opinions.
My current niche is travel. I know I need to narrow that down quite a bit. I am not sure if I should focus my niche more around small random travel items like suitcases, bags, mini travel size items or focus more on building my website more around fligths, travel insurance and hotels.
What would you suggest? In terms of why one would be better than the other. I am having trouble trying to figure out what exactly my first website should be focused on.

If it were me and this is just my opinion and I am certainly no expert here but I would go with items related to travel. Reason being is that you can directly apply the training here at Wealthy Affiliate to a site of that nature, you can hit the ground running with the Amazon Affiliate program and build out your site as you go through the training. As for a travel site revolving around flights, travel insurance and the like that type of website is not specifically taught here as far as I know. I am sure a site like that would be very lucrative if built out and promoted properly but if it were me I would stick to items available on Amazon and the like. I do look forward to other folks opinions on this topic. I hope this helps!

Remember that there should be a balance between engaging content and product reviews, so in a way you could combine your ideas. For example, write about a hotel but mention the limited storage space in the rooms and link it to a review page where you look at smaller suitcases.
