This is question you should be asking yourself when venturing into "any" new business or tool.

Making a profit means you need to make more than you are spending......and

This is certainly something to think about when choosing a niche

Definitely. Due diligence!

I believe you CAN make a profit, but this will not happen overnight. WA and Internet Marking is a journey to your goal, not a race, i.e. does not happen overnight. If everyone follows the training, overtime, you will make a profit.

You definitely can make a profit with WA. This was more of a general question to be asked, when starting a new opportunity.

I'm going to edit this post.....It clearly is getting taken the wrong way.

You're the second person to say that. Thanks

I didn't take it the wrong way, my answer is a generalisation of WA and hows folk should approach WA and Internet Marketing, i do agree with what you say, good post, as it gets people talking.

Okay, I took it the wrong way. I shall un-edit it! Lol

I definitely hold the mindset that you can turn a profit if you are following the courses. I'm on the fourth set of certification classes and it's clear to me that I can make a profit on my website by promoting products through affiliate networks like Clickbank and individual affiliate programs.

I feel that even if it takes a little longer than you expected, you need to have faith. If your online business isn't making the profit you expected, I would start writing in a new style for my posts, change my website design around or try something new that I haven't done before. You can make money. It's just a matter of how long it takes you to figure out that one unique feature your site offers that will make your business start booming.

What is your business exactly?

I'm not so much referring to WA, although the same question applies! More of a general question when starting ANY opportunity.

I know WA can turn a good profit.

But yes, you're right. I think constant and never-ending improvement is the key. Everyone has to learn their trade.

I'm so glad we have good teachers :)

Personally, I have an eCommerce business, so leveraging that, with the help of WA is a no-brainer for me.

If you read about the paths of many entrepreneurs who have made it big you'll find that most failed several times before finding the idea that worked for them. They didn't know the answers to your questions early on. Instead, they worked at it and put their money into their business, assuming it would work until they realized it wouldn't.

So, yes, I agree with you to a point.

Most of us won't know if something will work, however, until we give it enough time. That's assuming we are giving it our all, of course.

I think the biggest problem most of us have with any entrepreneurial effort is that we don't really pour ourselves into the idea. We dabble with it, only to become discouraged after so much time has passed without making a profit.

Yes, I agree you always start a new venture with the best of intentions, and at times things can go wayward. That's life!

You are making a great point that it is not always that clean cut.....and I've learned that the hard way!

I'm suggesting that these are general questions that you should be asked before entering into a new business, with honesty to yourself.

"Can I "assuming things don't go pear-shaped, turn a profit with this?"

It's all too easy to buy into the hype of a new product/program without grounding yourself and taking real stock of the opportunity.

Thanks for your input. You've got me thinking :)
