Hi,
The Vegas conference is for all of us who get our Aeroplane down from 300 to Zero.
Including yourself.
Apart from that no there are no other conferences. Which would be a fab Idea as it goes.

My dad passed away recently, and I need to focus my attention to take care of his estate. How do I put my site on hold?
Thank you,
Caryn
I have an annual premium membership that I plan on keeping up on. I was worried about not posting to my website as much as I need to be. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness and input.
I wouldn't woryy about it.
When you come back a good idea would be to update your posts.
Perhaps with a new keyword and maybe a wee bit of fresh info.
Then re-publish with the date you do this.
Remember to change the time as well to later in the day to when you are actually working on it.
Robert
Just stopped by to say I am sorry, Caryn.I know how it feels. With the time it will be a little better. A little.I would also advise you to pay your subscription and feel at ease about it.God bless you!
Good evening Caryn,
I know how you feel, there are so many things you have to take care of that WA has to be put aside for awhile. As far as I understand as long as you pay your monthly subscription your website will be waiting for you. I wish you all the best, you will see all will be well.
Regards, Taetske
So sorry for your loss. I know the feeling.
As long as you continually pay your monthly WA membership you can take as much time as you need and not lose any progress or your website.
I'm so sorry for your loss. :(
There is a 30 day grace period from the end of your premium subscription for you to move your site to a new hosting service before it gets mothballed. If you don't move it, and it does get mothballed, but you come back within 6 months, site support should be able to restore it from a backup.
All the rest of your account will be exactly as you left it.
You can leave anytime but if you do, your site will be kept for 30 days.
Return within that 30 days and you can just start where you left of.
Why not just pay your monthly sub and you still have the 30 days until its due again?
Nothing will have changed in that time except that you wont have done any work on your site.
Robert

I have established my website, but was thinking about changing the theme. Is that going to cause problems?
I recently changed my theme. It was flawless, with the exception of a few design discrepancies. Now, to check out the link that Loes posted. Great question, Caryn.
Sue
Yes but be aware of the many dependency issues that hang on a theme. Loes covers it quite well in her advisory!
Absolutely you can I have been doing it with my site a few times without any problems but before doing any changes remember to do a backup first
Just be very sure that you have properly backed up your website before changing themes!
You may find this training helpful for that: 4 Ways To Backup Your Website
You can change to another theme by going into SiteRubix.
Log in and then click on the large blue button that says Customize.
The next window shows a left side menu.
You will see the name of your current theme.
Click in that area to start your search for a new theme.
After searching and finding the one you want, you simply select it.
You will likely need to make some editing adjustments with your new theme.
If you prefer your old theme, just go through the steps again and select your old theme.
Good luck.

Perhaps one of the most strategic and successful bloggers, Brandon Gaille posted this,
"The Right Font Type and Size
The font type and size will allow your words to either flow beautifully across the post or appear bunched uncomfortably together. San-serif fonts are the preferred choice of most top blogs. The best practice for blog font size is 14pt-16pt with 130-150% line spacing."

Brandon shared one of my posts once and within a day or two it had 2200 shares, so I always pay attention to what he teaches lol.
Thank you for this interesting link. I looked on my websites at my posts to see if I could add a number but only on 1 did it look ok, still, I will keep it in mind when writing new posts and of course the other tips as well.
You might like to have a look at my second post here on WA as you might find it valuable info.

I would say it depends on the size of your font.
You want your text to be as easy to read as possible.
White space makes it easier to read.
The first theme I chose when I started was single paced. When I changed the theme it was automatically double spaced and it looks much better.
My theme is the Marlin Lite to theme.
You wouldn't know which theme is double spaced until you test it.
Not only does it look better, it spaces out the page making the post look twice as long.
So if you don't have a lot of content for one of your nich topics as in my case, this is perfect with a few pictures added.
Changing themes takes minutes it's only a couple of clicks away :)

What is the best spacing for posts?
Should my content be single spaced or double?

Since traffic is very important for your website, is it more important they follow you on Google+ or your website alone?
Thank you,
Caryn
Google owns Google+ so you will get traffic with both. I found I got good rankings on Google from my Facebook page. Traffic is good wherever it comes from so spread your site around on twitter, Google+, Pinterest, and any other social sites you can find. Kyle will do some training on this as you work through his training sessions. Good luck Margaret
You are sharing content from your website on a google + so it's a win win situation as far as traffic Caryn.
