Keyword, Niche and Market Research
Updated

I've been using Long Tail Pro for quite a while doing my keyword research then I joined wealthy affiliate. After a while, i came across Jaaxy, it seemed so very simple.

Hi,

I have bought LTP Platinum in the past but decided to get my money back guarantee. LTP Platinum tells you more details compared to Jaaxy Pro. But then again, I cannot compare apples to oranges. I should probably try Jaaxy Enterprise and then compare it to LTP Platinum to be fair.

I use Jaaxy Pro every other month (my first month/third month). I have only been here for 3.5 months. For Jaaxy Pro, I only look at the QSR and monthly searches. And they work. But honestly, the Keyword Tool here in WA also works! I used it on my second month and plan to use it for the rest of the months to come.

Many successful members here can testify that the default KW Tool in WA works. Colton blogged about it here -- > https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/coltonjames

He is now very successful after 1 year plus.

Jaaxy seems so simple am i missing something?

Authoring & Writing Content

Whats everyone's thoughts on content length? I am just about to begin writing some posts for my new site. I read that longer quality content may be better 1000 words + as long

Thanks for all of these responses, really helpful.

What is the best way to check the length of competing content on the first page. Can Jaaxy do this or is it more of a manual task?

Hi Colin...In order to bring your post to the front page one of the main thing you can consider is check the word count of your keyword competitors and aim to write more than that of them.It should be a quality content as well.
For instance, if your keyword competitor on the front page having a word count of 1200 words then write minimum of 1500 quality words.
Cheers

I think you are right, quality blogs around 1000 words usually do rank better. However, shorter blogs also can rank well, if they are relevant and offer quality as well. I would not go under 500 words, but really I try not to worry so much about the word count. As long as you cover your topic well and engage your audience, you should be fine. I personally have some blogs over the 1000 word mark and some that are much shorter. They have both ranked well.

Thank you, Michelle. I'll get some good content out there with varying lengths see what works but keep it over 500 words.

Sounds like a very reasonable way to go. :)
