A Brand New WA Dashboard is in Town!
Today we rolled out an update to the Dashboard at Wealthy Affiliate and I'd like to tell you about some of the features and updates that we think you will find incredibly helpful.
Let's Start with the New Tabs
First off... the Tabs on the dashboard for selecting your "view" have changed slightly. We have updated the tabs to be only 4 tabs:
Classrooms, Top 10, and Notification tabs are unchanged, but the Activity Tab has been completely overhauled!
Activity Tab: View Options Large or Small
We now have two views to choose from when looking at Activity. The Large view is unchanged and you will be able to access the same view that you have always had.
To see the "Large" view, select the option on the LEFT:
To see the "Small" view, select the option on the RIGHT:
The Small view is new and it is a grid-like summary of what's happening at WA. Small view also includes Questions which is a brand new type of activity!
Introducing Questions Activity!
New to the "Small" view of the dashboard are Questions. When questions are asked within blogs, training, or classroom discussions, they are going to be visible within the Small dashboard. This means that EVERY question in Wealthy Affiliate is now visible so that we can help each other out and get the answers we need very quickly!

If your'e in the mood to help someone out, just toggle to the small dashboard and click the "Unanswered" tab and you'll see all the questions in the system where people are looking for help. This is not only a great way to help people out, it will contribute to your WA rank, get you more followers, and improve your experience at WA. The more people that you engage with, the bigger your network is to get help and support :)
Filter by Type...
You can filter all of your results for the Large and Small dashboard views by:
ALL = All Activity
Unanswered = All activity where people have not been helped or responded to
Popular = All hot discussions that are going on!
This is a great way to see the whole picture, people that need help, or just the hot stuff that's popular right now!
...and all activity can be filtered by friends of course...
If you only want to see activity from people you follow, click "Friends". Or see everything going on at WA by selecting "Everyone"!
The Goal that Kyle and I have for Wealthy Affiliate is to deliver support and training when you need it. With the new dashboard update your questions are going to be much more visible so that we can all help each other work towards our goals. This new dashboard update instantly puts questions in the forefront. It delivers filters to customize what YOU see, and what your experience is like.
I'm very excited about this update and I think that you will find it pretty awesome too!

Perfect, I like it. For a short period of time I did like seeing the latest comments below a thread, but then I found it was always to busy and many comments I didn't even need to see.
Glad to hear it Craig. You can still see the comments below posts and respond "in-line" from the Large version if you're in the mood. Lots of options to customize now :)
Thanks Meredith!! Already today I've been able to help so many more folks because of this update and I know it is going to lead to everyone getting the help they need, when they need it! Kyle and I have been itching to release this for quite some time because the update was based on our own use of WA.

Carson, This is terrific. You and Kyle prove to us that when you are involved in something yourself (actually do the various activities) the ideas of how to make something better just flow. You are both good examples for us.
I do think the 'unanswered' questions is a great idea. I get a lot of notifications from WA. I like to help people when I can, but sometimes loose sight of those whom I can help. This option is really terrific.
I also like the idea that I can select 'Friends' or 'Everyone'. Every once in a while I like to see what those who are my 'friends' are doing. This save me time.

Hi George, I'm glad that you like the new update and that you find the "unanswered" filter. I've been eagerly awaiting this feature because I too am here to help, but previously didn't have a quick way to get the help to those who needed it. A lot of people are going to get their questions answered very quickly.

That was an important and most needed upgrade. As an inexperienced premium member here at WA, some times I saw people who just started and needed some help but their questions stayed unanswered for quite a bit of time. Now, with this "update" everyone knows that their questions "are visible" to everyone else so they can expect to get an answer to their questions in a shorter period of time.

You're welcome Jay - it's challenging to get content visibility and I think we've really improved with this new dashboard. Will look forward to using it, and continuing to refine!
