I guess you've fixed it because the links are there when I hover over the images. You can try visiting the website in an incognito window or using a different browser if you still can't see them in the bottom left of your browser window when you hover over the images. ~Marion
Hi Marion, thanks for checking for me. I logged off the site, logged back on and they were there. Phew, what a relief!

I had problems with my amazon links today...they were down for a couple of hours....I have a feeling there was some kind of time lapse between updating their sales.

I am not yet an Amazon Affiliate, I am still at the Level two training and we have not reached that part as yet and my website is in its early stages. However, some of my articl
One way round this is to go to the products own company site, email and explain you are promoting their product and ask for permission to use the images. That's how I got round this problem before I started adding affiliate links. :)
I agree with Michelle04. I am an Amazon Associate and can use their picture to promote their products.
I am afraid you are not allowed to do this. Amazon is not a free source.
You are not the first one to encounter such a problem. I had the same issue; how to write reviews about something without pictures. Jovo
Hi. If you are an Amazon Associate, then you are allowed to use their product images to put on your website. If you are not an associate, I don't believe you can just use their images. You have to be using the images to promote their products.
Thanks Michelle. I guess in the meantime I'll have to just name the item or something :-(
Keep writing good content and in not too long, you should be able to apply with Amazon and become one of their affiliates. :)
I just had this discussion with several people over the last few weeks. I went to Amazon and spoke with them directly. You can not use screenshots of their products. You can only use what they provide for you, this includes the reviews.
You have to use their Product Advertising API for prices, reviews etc. I found it difficult to use, however.
I also learned that you cannot manually add the price of a product as these fluctuate daily.
I respect your opinion on this. Am I wrong? I'm so confused because I see so many people saying that if you are an affiliate you can use any product image.
So i actually just chatted with Amazon, and they said that as long as your promoting that item, you can use those pics on a specific ad to promote that item.
So for example, if I want to promote a certain health product on my site, then I can use all of the pics on that specific ad of that health product and use it on my site.
In Amazon's own words: "By copying and pasting? we really dont care honestly. Yeah you can do that."
