Life Interfered With My Progress....

But I'm back now and rarin' to go, albeit in the slow lane! In case you're wondering where I've been, I have had a multitude of changes in my life during the past year that have kept me more or less absent from WA most of the time.

First Was Preparing and Selling My Beloved Mountain Cabin.

Then the Stress of Packing and Moving

gobbled up all my time and energy. I managed to keep in touch with some of my WA friends, and respond to a few posts, but I was esentially absent for several months.

I sold my house furnished, and was having a wonderful time discovering just the right pieces of furniture and items to decorate my new apartment and make it my own.

Of course I missed my wonderful creek, Carol's Cascades,

and Leia's fenced yard, but I was happy in my new home and had no plans to ever move again.

Until....

A blast from my past rearranged all my carefully made plans and my life.My head is still spinning from all the changes the last year has brought...moving twice in a year's time; having no car for several months after being in a freak accident, getting used to living with someone else after living alone for many years; being homesick for my beautiful Smoky Mountains, my friends, and the chorus I sing in; mosquitoes and horrible heat all summer keeping us inside most of the time; and of course, unpacking, sorting and deciding what to sell, and attempting to find places for everything in a tiny house that is smaller than my apartment.

I realize that this post might sound like I'm complaining, and I really don't want to focus on the negative. I just wanted to share a bit of what's been going on with me the past several months.

.

In spite of all this,

my creative juices were flowing, keeping me awake at night with ideas for the article I was working on for my website. I had resumed working on my certification course training, and was busy doing research for the article I needed to write to complete the lesson I was working on.

Then I hit another roadblock...

which is slowing me down once again. While this situation may sound like excuses to those of you who have more stamina than I do, with my fibromyalgia flaring up from the stress, I really have very little energy to pursue my dreams at this time. I am doing what I can when I can, and although I'm not making the progress I'd like to, I am not giving up!

Wow you have had a hectic year! Have you tried meditation to help with the stress?
Everyone has real life step in to create problems and hold ups but we get past it all in the end. The main thing is to keep going at however slow a pace until it all settles down.
Welcome back.

So true, Linda. Thanks.

Eliminate all fried foods, margarine, oils of any and every kind, forever. Go back to butter, but don't brown it. Or use lard, no Crisco as it was invented as a submarine lube, then sold to Proctor & G, who paid someone to dis butter and lard. Everyone's hellth has been going there since. Oh yes and Carol, its good to have you back!
Then your body is crying out for something, so you need not be suffering!
Just like your Suzay, Last year I had Congestive Heart Failure and almost died. You'll never find out from the Medical profession that could have been prevented by the vitamin B-! in greater amount that what's on the bottle. Nope the slew of Medical doctors and drugs and procedures went well over $220,000! Versus about $8/month.
And doctors are the #1 cause of death in America! While you are down Please read the Rockefeller Files on the web, first 1/3 of book is on educateyourself.com something like that to preserve it. Then it will tell you where to go for the next 1/3rd, etc. Blow Carol's mind! Then you'll be running back to WA all fired up!
What's missing in your life, I'm quoting someone: the trace mineral selenium, vitamin e, and sulfur bearing methionine. Because I'm not prescribing anything! Don't want any trouble. More info Sweetie. private message. Hate to see you hurting when it need not be so!
Suzay

Thanks, Suzay. Meditation and music help a lot with the stress. Surprisingly, when I'm stressed out, I sing!

Welcome back
Good to read you!
You survived
✨🎈

Thanks, Fleeky. Missed reading your posts, along with a lot of my other WA friends.

We missed you as well...

Thanks, Fleeky. Trying not to be AWOL so much while I still have so many balls in the air that I'm juggling!

I bet...
Follow one... is the trick
🤹‍♀️🤹‍♂️🤹‍♂️

Good advice.

Hi Carol, good to see you, sounds like you have had a very interesting year.

One of the interesting things or not about life is that we can never be sure about what's around the next corner.

Our past has that habit of catching up with us, if it brings us happyiness them it is something to be embraced.

Downsizing can present issues, excellent niche opportunity?

Take care of your self.

Fibromyalgia can be a challenge.

Best wishes as you reconnect both here and with your new life.

Alex

Thanks so much, Alex. You are certainly right...we certainly can never be sure about what's around the next corner. Good "talking to you again", Alex.

We could neutralize all the things going wrong with a positive mindset and prayers. Well, good food and exercise are important. What is inside your heart is very important it must have love and peace and humility and grtitude. The family plays a big role in healing all that we have in our body of course without being too much, prayers are a powerful weapon.

Christine, I wish you joy and happiness always even in the midst of great challenges.

Thanks.

Welcome back. I too have had many distractions. I need to focus more, if I really want to achieve my goals.

Best wishes,
David

Thanks, David. Best wishes for your increased focus, as well.

Nice to see you back. Sometimes it is hard to cope with what life has to offer but be strong, take it easy and never give up.

Thanks, Elores. Yes, life can certainly be stressful at times, but it helps so much to have international WA friends. It's such a joy to get to know people from other countries and cultures. I love it!

Hi Carol. I know what fybromyalgia is like. I have several family members with it. There's a good chance I have it as well, but I refuse to get a full diagnosis. I decided that I didn't want to know. Especially after an uncle and aunt died from MND. I believe all these auto immune disorders are linked. In the mean time I simply go on and live with the pain. Jim

I certainly understand, Jim. My older sister died from Lupus/Scleraderma when she was only 51. I believe that the autoimmune diseases are probably largely a result of poor nutrition as well as possibly a genetic predisposition. Have you read the book "Medical Medium" by Anthony William? A neighbor gave me the book, and it was a real eye opener for me. He talks about nutrition a LOT.

Welcome back. I'm moving slow myself. Just do what you can do.

Thanks, Mick. That's all I can do....slow like the tortoise. But not in a race anyway, except with myself.

Don't worry. You'll get there. I understand. I am moving very slowly also with lots of detours as well. However, I do think I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Everything will come together. I am glad you are not giving up. Keep moving forward.

Thanks, Haroda. Appreciate it. I'm moving forward by inches, when I'd rather be running, but that's the reality at the moment. Will get up to speed someday, and then, WATCH OUT!
