Chugging Along and Growing!
Hi, Everyone!
I've been busily working on an article I finally finished this AM about 4:30. Feels so good to have reached the goal of completing and publishing that post.
I don't always have a lot of time for my business, but I make sure that I either work on one of the certification lessons, do some research for an article, or write at least a few sentences every day. And it has paid off.
My first website is up and running, with 4 posts and has been ranked in Google. Today I received a notice that I am in the Top 200! Don't know exactly how that happened, or what that involves, but it sounds like something good.
The post I just finished has 3 links to other websites. Two are sites where customers can order budget or moderately priced ballroom dancing shoes, (one link for each), and the other is a reference for them to research the best brands of ballroom dance shoes for more information than I provided in my article.
Now I need to find out how to join their website affiliate programs and get it set up so I get paid if someone clicks on the links on my website.
I am supposed to be singing in a performance of Handel's Messiah tomorrow evening. However, it is supposed to start snowing in the afternoon during our dress rehearsal. They're forecasting 2-4 inches for my area, and if we get that, I'll be snowed in if I stay home. Considering my options: Take Leia with me when I venture out tomorrow for dress rehearsal, board her over night Friday night, and stay with a friend and fellow singer after the performance

Thanks, Juliana. Had my decision made for me this morning. Got up at 5:30 and already had 2 inches of snow on the ground. Under a winter storm warning with 2-4 inches forecast. In IA, where I grew up, that would be no big deal. BUT, being on a steep mountain road with drop offs in the snow is a totally different picture. Staying home snug and warm with my critters. Will probably be snowed in for a couple days, since this cold snap won't be letting up for awhile.
Easy to do WA affiliate..Click on the airplane, and I think it'll get you set up here...not, sure about website, needs to do that as well!

I'm a night owl, but haven't been getting enough sleep lately. Need to change that. I'm snowed in as we speak, had 3 appointments in town today that will just have to wait. Going back to bed for a couple more hours.

Hi, Bell. You're right...feeling great in spite of being snowed in and missing my concert tonight. There will be others. I'm surprised I'm not more disappointed about not singing tonight. Probably would have been if I didn't have WA to keep me busy!

Your niche sounds great! To sign up for affiliate programs, go to their web sites and fill out applications. It usually takes a couple days to hear back. I've joined Amazon, Shopify and Share-A-Sale so far.
