Another Baby Step!

Hello, WA friends.

As some of you know, I have been struggling my way along in my WA growth. One of the challenges I'd been working on was inability to sign in to my website's email account. Apparently I've finally figured it out, or else Site Support fixed the problem, because I just logged in for the first time!

I had an email from Capezio ballroom dance shoes accepting me as an affiliate in their program! Yippee! It takes so little to make me happy!

The next challenges I'll be tackling (which I have been working on, but not completely finished yet) are getting images onto the pages I've published so far, and re-sizing the one image that I have on the article I'm currently writing.

I also learned how to refer friends to WA without having a website promoting it.

So, I guess that's three baby steps! And I'll continue to crawl along until I pull myself to standing and take another one.

Way to go!

Carol,

You are right, it is step by step. Every step is an accomplishment.

Lisa

Images and mail both important. Bless your efforts Carol

Thanks, Mike.

I added an image to one of my articles and it is way to big. I can't seem to size it. If you figure out a simple trick please share! Best of luck.

Hey there, start my doing this. In your WP Dashboard, go to Appearance > Settings > Media and then change all media value fields to 0 and save.

Go back to your page/post, add media. Click on it and you should be able to drag the image to an alternate size. If you can't get it to the precise size you want, click on the Text Editor (rather than Visual Editor) tab, and you'll see the HTML code for the text and image on the page. You can manually change the image size there.

Hope this helps! :-)

Thanks a million!

My pleasure! :-)

Glad I'm not the only one with sizing challenges. Glad Bob knew the answer.

Thanks, Bob. Will let you know how it turns out.

My pleasure, good luck Carol. :-)

That is great news Carol, it is always nice to get good news.

Wonderful Carol! I am so happy to hear you got approval from Capezio! It is great to see a picture of you too!

Yay!
Jessica

Thanks. The original pic has my therapy dog in it, but had to crop her out because the circle isn't big enough for the two of us!

Your doing just fine!

Wayne

Baby steps lead to large leaps. Keep on at it, you will get there, with Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Thanks, Karen.

That is great news. Thank you for your post as this finds me in a similar position. Being who I am, not one to easily ask for help, find my self in the same boat. I am having issues with my website and it's very much like yours, and now that I've read your post, I m sure I can push through this challenge and grow that much more. Hang in there as you have just helped me solve what seems to me too difficult to overcome. Thx again. Have a great week.

Wow, Xavier. I had no idea anyone else was having so much trouble. Glad my post helped. Keep in touch and let me know how you're doing. Carol

Awesome Carol! I find the imagery portion of posting is fun.

I think I'll enjoy it once I'm comfortable with the process.

youll get the hang of it soon enough!

Hope so, Barry. Thanks for the encouragement. Following you.
