I am returning to activity after 2 years of inactivity. how do I update my websites so that they are
The articles in my websites are old. Should I delete the oldest articles and re-write the topic again or just edit the content?
Is your website still ranking? If not, then you may want to start fresh.
Google tends to punish websites that have been neglected and it is often times more difficult to revive a website, than it is to start fresh.

Great advice from Kyle here.
If your site is still ranking, you can edit all except changing the URL. If the URL changes, they'll be new posts.

I want to click on one of my posts using pretty link.I get the message"nothing found"
I can find the post without the pretty link. What is wrong?
Thank you. The problem is solved. My mistake. I do not believe that I missed a typo. The target post included the word new. I had typed instead the word now. Sorry .
The pretty link is correct but on the list of posts in the pretty links page it shows " nothing found for...(name of the post) What could be wrong with the post? I can reach the posts entering the full permalink. I do not have a title or a description in the SEO.
But this is the same as all other posts that work fine with the pretty link. Is there a detailed tutorial on pretty links/
Thanks a lot.
Hey Carlos,
If you can provide a screen print of what you are referring to it might be easier to track down your issue. Else you could contact SiteSupport for their help: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
have you checked in your pretty links that your link is correct
someone else has just had a pretty link problem
i have just installed it on a site and created a link and added it to a post and it all worked...
have fun

Hey Carlos,
It is always best to simply update an old post rather than delete it and start again. This way, Google will see that you are updating your website and that would work in your favour.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hello Trish,
Your advice is very helpful. I will just update the old post.
Is it ok to change the Title of the website? Just adding "New Update " ? Thanks
Carlos
Change the title of the website or post?
If you do mean the website then, yes, you can if you want to... and here's a video to show you how you can do that: How to Change Your Site Title and Tagline If you meant to say the post... then, yes you can... but do NOT touch the permalink. See screen print below...
Update the date too if you want. Here's a video to show you how you can change the date if you so wish: Unpublish Post, Make Changes to Date and Time
Just plan to change the name of the post ,to show that it is updated. Thanks again.
Carlos
In that case it would be more interesting to update the old blog, since google may consider copying. I believe the data can be stored for a while on google.

To be used for comparing 3 products
I have had the challenge before and I used a Word Table and saved as an image into WordPress but have now seen that WordPress has an insert table functionality. I have never used it before.
Hey Carlos,
Another member and I have been chatting up about this very topic and they use the Easy Table of Contents plugin, so you may want to give that one a try.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks Triblu. I will try this plug in on a sample page. I ended up doing the Table in Excel, saved it as a picture and inserted it into Site Content. Unfortunately with my method it was saved as a picture so it is not possible to click on a product listed in the table.
After I learn your method I will redo my already published page.
When using Excel, I paste my table into Word... and then using your Text Editor... copy from Word to the WordPress page you want it on.
Saving it as a picture would do just that... it would become a picture and NOT clickable links.
Working in a test site is the best way to do any experimenting.
