Importance of feedback
When I started my website I thought that if I write content well researched and documented with authoritative references,the readers will come.Well... it did not happen.What I thought was very important information,research on indoor air pollution,did not have the appeal I expected.It would be easy to blame this fact on the short attention span that is prevalent today.But the truth is that I overestimated the quality of my posts.If I do not get readers it means that I have not done a good job.Lack of results is a most important feedback.
My niche is important to me,and I am not giving up.I am now adjusting my course.The goal remains the same but I am making adjustments.
1) Add new shorter posts,creating more urgency
2) Add more images
3) Add a product review Category. I need to engage readers who are interested in the products but do not want to read "academic" papers telling them why they need the products.
I will still write the "academic" papers because that is what I love to do,but I will strive for balance.I believe that we need to make constant corrections to our course as we proceed towards our goal.The first approach is not always the right one.Feedback is most important.Feedback can come from honest self-evaluation.But feedback from friends and associates here at WA is most important.The consensus of opinions is a form of crowdsourcing that is most likely to tell the truth.

Feedback is important as people view your page they see things you may not see.
People also are different at how they look at things so one person may say one thing and another may say something else we all view the web in different ways. With that sort of feedback your able to tweek your site.
